You are an excellent writer. I love reading all your stories.
You capture emotions so beautifully and do a brilliant job of writing on current tracks which only make us wish this is how it is shown on the show.
After reading this i have my expectation high on how cvs handle romi track.

Hey Sneha thank you so much and no need to be sorry, its awesome when readers appreciate your work so minutely 😃

Raman would have never thought what a change his life was going to face when he made a decision to shift back to Delhi. If I remember right, it was the same day Amma read her daughter's daily horoscope that she was going to meet her love that day. And she met Ruhi. To shift permanently itself is a huge thing and as if it wasn't enough, there was so much happening in his life, I wonder if he even got time to think about his decisions thoroughly.

I suppose you are right, I tried to catch up on the initial episodes but havent so far made much progress but if memory serves me right, this was the chain of events 😳

Now next comes the line that affected me a lot.
With her in the picture - his resolve, his decisions, even his resistances seem to be fading.
Imagine reading this line and I see Raman trying to control and comfort Ishita in your profile icon. It was so...I can't seem to find a word for that. I just hope that I managed to convey the essence. The Raman now is very much different yet same from the guy who shifted to Delhi a few months ago

I know what you mean, RKB has come a long way and while he still remains the same man he was who came back to his hometown Delhi from Mumbai, these months have changed his relationship with Ishita on a huge level. From being the man who would humiliate her any chance he got, would not hesitate calling up Subu' mom during Ruhi' case - today he is someone who cant allow anyone even his own sis to point a finger at her and well, we see how he has treated Subu' mom 😆 in fact the change started happening as soon as they got married - when Ashok is about to insult Ishita post the case when he comes with Shagun to drop Ruhi off, Raman warns him to hold his tongue since she is his wife now

At the time of Ishita and Raman's wedding I was focused on Ishita marrying for Ruhi's sake and Raman for the CUSTODY, that I didn't once consider how much this decision was affecting Raman. What must have been going through his mind?

Raman def had a lot going on on his mind, he NEVER wanted to remarry and here he was, and not just that - he was marrying a woman he disliked beyond anything so def it was not easy for him but Ruhi... she was worth a hell lot more to him than his own happiness and life 😳

True. Since Ishita has entered his family, all those well kept secrets are coming out slowly but only to bring them together. As I see it, these issues have only brought the Bhallas closer as a family and probably the Iyers too. Even Simmi wouldn't have tried so much to save her brother at any cost if it wasn't for the hate she had for Ishita. I am sure once she learns the truth about her husband, all the hate will go away. I have a feeling Romi will be forgiven because of the love his heartfelt confession will project. The guy will truly realise his mistake and it will be a treat to watch a beautiful bonding moment in the family.

Yep her coming into the Bhalla clan is actually acting as a catalyst that has finally made the dormant state of affairs of this family react, unfortunately there have been a few explosions along the way, but sometimes that's bound to happen - for something good to happen, sometimes bad things must also be dealt with 😳

What a perspective, Aani! It was always there but I never noticed it. That the Bhallas focusing on Raman's shattered life may have forgotten that there are others in the family too. I don't mean to say there was partiality. In fact, Simmi, Romi and Rinki must not have even thought about themselves and were hurt seeing their brother in such misery. The three of them love and adore their elder brother a lot.

Thank you ☺️ yep the parents never intentionally played favorites here but they too are human and were so caught up in the ruined marriage of their eldest offspring they never realized how they are neglecting the others in the process. Yep Romi, Simi and Rinki never must have hated Raman or even considered that because of him they have to suffer this because they love him so much and saw the amount of pain he is in, but that certainly doesn't mean they weren't overlooked or felt overshadowed, somehow the failure of his marriage overshadowed everything in their home.

Raman's life has never been easy. He has been trying to deal with so much from a very young age. But now he has Ishita. Like you said,

Ishita, his wife, really is the one who was the missing piece of the puzzle, she truly is the miracle they desperately needed.

And in a twisted way, he is thankful for his failed marriage that led him to this juncture.

Yep, Shagun leaving him was the reason things fell apart not just for him but all his family, but had she stayed on and continued with her wicked games it would have been even worse I believe, so thankfully she had the good sense to leave and that made it possible for Ishita to come to Raman' life, which he now sees for the blessing that it is. 😊

thank you once again for that wonderful comment Sneha 🤗

Well hullo again Ms.Aani!
Firstly, NOPE you didn't disappoint me - That's what you wished for in your reply to my comment.
I read the two chapters at one go.
What a way to bring out Raman's thoughts. You know what i felt like while reading these excerpts?
- As if an effective literate orator has penned down the thoughts of Raman Kumar Bhalla after perusing his personal diary. Glad to witness the fact that a man respects his wife so much.👏
Again, wonderfully executed. Awaiting the next.😳

It's so uncanny that you used the Anna Karenina quote, I'm re-reading it after a long time but those lines have always stayed with me.

I loved your exploration of Raman's relationship with Romi. Really struck some chords, sometimes older siblings can overlook the effects of their behavior and it's indirect effect upon our younger siblings. Raman carries so many burdens and it's unfortunate that this whole Romi saga will no doubt make him question himself further. Ultimately it will be another 'moment' in which Ishita will show him another facet of his character and enable him to embrace himself truly. I'm looking forward to the day he is able to embrace himself of all that he is. Became he is a truly beautiful soul.

Hey Uz thanks for the comment 😊 and no need to be sorry 😳

@bold - being an elder sibling myself, though I have only one younger pesky bro I totally know get the dynamics of these relationships, the younger ones may feel slighted sometimes out of fear or pressure, while the older ones, well they are just as lost sometimes. Being an older sibling is no mean task too after all, you act as a stand-in parent in their absence and while you may have the best of intentions at heart its not always possible that they reflect in your decisions too so its always gonna be a bumpy ride 😳

Hey Nidha thank you

Yep Love is a double-edged sword... Raman lost his love and that ruined him and the fact that his parents loved him so much, they inadvertently never realized that their worries, their tensions for their eldest born while valid and justified out of the love parents have for their children made them overlook their other kids.😳

Hey Aparna thank you once again so glad to know my SS makes you understand these characters a little more, makes you connect with them on another level as well and the epi was beautiful on so many levels - of course the bit which you referred to here was so touching - like I have been saying I am an elder sibling too and when Raman - mera bachcha hai woh... oh I totally connected with that line, I have one bro only but I refer to him as bachcha and beta too.. its an elder sibling thing. 😳 It just comes to you and I could connect with the pain Raman felt because its hard not to relate to him for me 😳

How she has come to be a pillar in his life, one that shows him the right way of doing things so that he can finally mend his relationship with his family.

Thank you so much Abby 😊

Yep that was the reason for the first two chapters, to highlight things from Raman' POV (granted we knew most of it through the show) but it was necessary to establish a few things -which happened in this chapter, him realizing how life has been altering right in front of him.

And Ishita has served as the catalyst that has brought forth all these changes in his life and that of his family' as well. For all his grumbling, in his thank you speech he admitted how she is an amazing woman who is the best possible mom, wife, DIL and SIL that his family could have found... slowly its time he also sees how she influences him as a person and his decisions too, especially those regarding his family. He acts impulsively which in hindsight is always damaging, Ishita acts as a counter for those decisions, she stops him just in time before his haste makes waste which is always needed in a marriage and a family - one calm partner to reign in the rage of the volatile one 😳

omg... this chapter was AMAZING!!!

Hey Aditi thank you 😊

you wont believe i too was about to write something similar to this regaurding romi... but was not able to find time to pen it down... all this because at heart romi is not shown bad.. he is a good guy at heart... and i seriously thought that raman's marriage falling apart... followed by ignorance might be the reason for him turning towards the wrong path...
plus who wants Aly goni to turn negetive.⭐️.

I agree Romi is a misguided youth but not evil like Pervmeet and of course I wont want Aly to turn bad too I like the guy, if you find the time pen down your thoughts 😳

so thought you have penned my thoughts into words...
and then the transformation raman is going through beautifully expressed...
And then the family's decision of not sending romi to jail... it only shows that somewhere down the line both families have accepted each other..
Then Raman considering himself as the reason for romi's wrong doings... so true according to his character... and then coming to accept the fact that more than punishing him making him realize the wrong doings is more important and his anger will only worsen the situation... and he has come to realize this fact due to a surprise that life has thrown on him in the form of his wife.. and he is just as thankful to his stars for giving him this gift...

yep for good or bad the families are now together and also sometimes thats the thing isnt it - there is no right or wrong way to deal with things only a midway where families are involved specially. Also being the person Raman is, and considering he is the oldest bro and the one who is the decision maker of the family in most things now of course its bound to hit him hard 😳

amazing dear.. you have done a great job in explaining the things...
but now honestly i would curious to know that how raman comes to know about the facade ishita is displaying...

coming up 😳

and Aani you are one of the gifted writers here... keep writing more

thank you ☺️
