In his sleep, Raman tossed over again; while tossing, he found the side next to him empty. He wondered where did Ishita go. Realising that he had dreamt of Ishita making him food and sleeping next to him; he felt silly of himself! Kya Raman kuch b sochta hai-Wo madrassan bhala raat ko tere lie kyun kuch banaegi! Or mujhe kya kisi pagal kutte ne kata hai jo mein use hug karunga huh-not possible!' He was about to go to sleep again when he found that Ishita wasn't there in the room. Pata ni raat ko kaali maata ka roop dharan karke kiska khoon peene gayi hogi!
Ye Ravan Kumar ko be Punjabi hi hona tha out of all other religions huh! In punjabion ke khane toabba oil mein tairte hain! Romi hota to bhi better tha bechara kabhi nakhre ni marta lekin mere sahabzaadde ko to proper heacy paranthe ke bina khana psand ni aata -ya to chicken warna parantha!! Aiyoo Murgan kaha fass gayi mein! Kya yaar pehle jab kaha ki fridge se kuch khaa le tab to attitude maar ke chale gae! Ab raat ko bhook se sadd re hai lekin ye ni ki kuch khud dhoond kar bana le ya or-lazy ass! Waise mujhe bi kya paddhi thi inke lie raat ko uth kar khana banane ki - Dimag to mera hi kharab hai jo apni neend us raavan pe waste kar ri hu!
Finally the paranthas were ready; she took the trey out of the buffet cabinet and placed the plate of paranthas with tea in it. Hoping that her husband won't irritate her by throwing the tantrums, she went to her room. There she saw him tossing again fighting with his hunger!
Going up to him, she patted on his shoulder and asked him to wake up! He was up the very instant!
Raman: Ab kya chahiye tumhe! Mere mein raat ko jang ladneki himmat ni hai! So please mujhe baksh do! [he said while folding his hands in front of her]
Khdoos kahi ke raat ko b raavangiri se baaz ni aate!
Ishita: Oo hello Raat ko bed ke saath kabaddi khelna band karo aur uthke khana kha lo!
What the hell?! Ye wake hi mere lie khana bana ke lai hai - how the hell is it possible ki mujhe pehle hi sapna aa gaya; waise mein itna react kyu kar rah u, I'm sure ye mere lie south indian ki koi sadi dish le aayi hogi!!!
Raman: Dekho thanks ki tumne itni takleef ki but I would die out of hunger but eat that paysam made by you!
Ishita was irritated and at the same time she wasn't in any mood to fight! She was damn tired by the day's events; therefore, she said 'Dekhiye yah ape aloo parantha or chai padi hai thoos lo warna raat bhar bed ke sath kabaddi kheloge to subah tak bed apna dum tod dega!' She went up to her sofa and slept there.
Raman was shocked like hell!
What the eff? How can my dream come true maybe not exactly but hell most of it did turn out to be real! Aloo parantha at 2:00am that too with tea was exactly what I had seen in that dream of mine! The only changes are that instead of waiting for me, she had slept on the sofa and not on the bed, next to me!
The paranthas were really yummy and he relished the taste and tea was mazedaar masala maar ke! Just the way he liked. Even after having such a delicious meal he still wasn't satisfied-and NO it had NOTHING to do with his hunger but something else earked him! In his dream Ishita had forced him to eat whereas, in real she just kept the trey next to him and had not cared enough if he would eat or not! Neither did she wait for him to finish eating, and they weren't sleeping together!
'Mujhe kya? accha hi hai mere saath ni soi warna moti sari jaga le leti or mein raat ko neeche gir jaata!'
Next morning
The T.V news was on regarding some elections in the living room. As usual the hustle bustle of early morning was there! Ruhi running around the kitchen and dining area being chased by her Ishima, requesting her to eat her breakfast! Toshi g, Simmi and Rinki had just finished their breakfast and were cleaning up the dining table, putting the dishes away into kitchen's sink.
Toshi: Dekh oye Meera, kal tune bartan itne dirty tareeke se dhoye the! Today sare dhang se dhone tu! Warna teri salary cut! Aayi samajh?!
Meera nods in a positive assuring that today she won't let Toshi down!
Rinki: Waise kal ka function kaisa raha? Because of my exams I couldn't attend sangeet and ring ceremony but koi batao to sahi ki sabne kitna maza kia? Aakhir mere Mihir bhai ki sagai hai dhoom to bohot machai hogi and Mihika kaisi lag ri thi
Romi: Arre pehle saans to le kitne questions poochegi ek baar mein? Waise we all had a blast and sab itna naache ki mazaa hi aa gaya.
Or bhabhi ka Punjabi dance and Punjabi speech to sabse laa jawaab! Bhabhi ko dekh ke lag hi ni rat ha ki wo punjaban ni hai!
Raman: Chup kar bhabhi ke chamche! Or kitna makhkhan maarega?
Raman had entered the scene followed by Rinki's excitement! Romi's compliments for his wife angered him and that's why he ended up making that comment!
Ishita on the other hand was damn annoyed by Raman! Samajhte kya hai apne ap ko ye Raavan-Kal inhone ek baar bhi meri speech ko appreciate ni kia or ek baar bhi thankyou ni bola for making dinner for him at such late night! Khadoos kahi ka! Since then she has been ignoring him since the morning and not doing anything for him-be it keeping his clothes ironed and hanged in the hanger, ready for him to wear or serving him his morning tea with his breakfast! She busied herself with ruhi and house chores so that Raman wouldn't demand her to do anything.
Lo aa gaya khadoos saara maza kharab karne ke lie!
Ishita: Awww Romi you're soo sweet! In fact kal tumne mere kitna khayal rakkhha and that sandwich was too good. Thank you soo much for everything. At least kuch logo ko appreciate to karna aata hai kisi ka hardwork and effort unlike others!
Everyone realised that Ishita was taunting Raman and they were ready to see another live broadcast of their fight. Yet they were astonished as Raman didn't retort back but left the place quietly.
Inhe kya ho gaya aise chup chap kyu chale gaye? Ye theek to hai na kahi Aditya ko leke firse to ni tense hog aye? Ek kaam karti hu thodi der mein phone karke poochti hun.
At the office
Raman: Mihir wo zara Mr Mehta wali file to dikha.. lemme check ki konsi company ke sath deal karne mein profit hoga.
Mihir: Umm Bhai..wo.
Raman: Wo kya aage bakega b kuch ya wo wo karta rahega bas?
Mihir: Bhai wo file a-[cut by Raman]
Raman: Don't tell me that you left the file at home!
Mihir: Nahi bhai file ghar pe ni aap ke haath mein hi hai!
Mihir chuckled but realised something was definitely wrong with Raman today-he seemed too lost!
Bhai sab theek to hai na?
Raman: Jab tak teri Bhabhi hai meri life kaha theek ho sakti hai?
Mihir: Bhai bas b karo jab dekho Ishita Bhabhi ko sunate rehte how o bechari itni acchi hai or aap bas unse jhagadte rehte hain hmph
Raman: Bas kar mere baap, ghar pe already ek bhabhi ka chamchaa hai mere se aur handle ni honge! Maaf kar mujhe!
Or teri bhabhi khaak acchi hai-subah se ignore kar ri hai mujhe for god knows what reason! In auraton ki problem kya hai ye koi ni samajh sakta, sab ki sab pagal hain! Or teri bhabhi to antique peace hai bine matlab hi attitude dikhati hai!
Mihir: Oh ho Bhai, wo sab chodo ye batao apne bhabhi ko thanks to bola na?
Raman: Arre subah se koshish kar rah un use thanks bolne ki lekin wo madam to Romi ke saath busy hai! Waqt kaha hai uske pass!
His mobile phone started ringing, the ID displayed the name of Jhansi Ki Rani' sliding the button he accepted the call.
Haan bolo
Ishita: Kya hai Raman? Dhang se hello bhi ni boli jati apse
Raman: Mudde pe aao or time na waste karo mera
Ishita: insensitive jerk wo I just wanted to ask if you were alright? Aaj ap jaldi gharse nikal gaye and oopar se break fast bhi ni kia so sab theek hai na?
Raman: ab isse meri badi chinta hai jab ghar pet tha tab to Romi ki maala jap ri thi Yeah I'm alright! Mujhe kya hona hai? Tum jao na Romi ke paas-ussse baat karo mein to insensitive jerk hu mere sath time na waste karo!
Ishita: Raman kya bole ja rahe ho? Tabiyat to theek hai tumhari ya kahi fir se paysam kha lia?
Raman: dekho tum bohot zada velli ho but mere pass bohot kaam hai so please leave me in peace ki mein clients ko dhang se attend kar saku!
IShita: Whatever Ravan Kumar! Huh
Saying that she disconnected the call and cursed him in Tamil.
Over here Mihir couldn't understand why was Bhai so rude to bhabhi for no particular reason. All he heard was the taunts Raman bhai passed to bhabhi regarding Romi! But what does Romi has to do with all this drama?
Mihir: Bhai romi se itna gussa kyu ho?
Raman: Gussa ni hu to aur kya saala kal se Ishita ki buttering mein laga hua hai! Uski hi waja se I couldn't thank Ishita! baar baar chichundar sa tapak jata hai! Or teri bhabhi Romi ki tareef ke pull bandatte ni thakti!
Mihir: Not bad bhai, you're jealous of your own brother [he started laughing and Raman was damn irritated! Here he was annoyed and Mihir was busy making fun out of it!]
Daal mein kuch kaala hai-Romi ko sonata hu ye saara haal! Ab itna to pata chal gaya ki bhai ke irritate and lost hone ki waja kyat hi t obas ab kis baat ki deri? Hun ta appa jaan la deni aa in donoa nu kathhe laan vaaste ;)
