First of all, we can't deny that Ishu is the 2nd woman in his life. I am not saying you are wrong, I agree with you 100%. I love how you said your each and every word. But Ishu is the 2nd woman in his life but I think it's time for Raman to make Ishu his first priority.

Anyway, I think it's all right that he wanted to show Shagun her real place, but I wished he wouldn't done that in tonight episode. Bechari Ishu 😭 You are also very right that CV's should stop comparing herself with Shagun.

And if I was in Ishu's shoes, I wouldn't dance with Raman either. But Raman so sweetly asked her hand in front of everyone that Ishu cn't say no to him 😕 Ishu is not the type of person to leave in the middle of things. I am proud of her that, she dance with him even thou she was hurt, she was in pain but she prove that she will not leave Raman in middle not matter how much pain she goes thru because of him. I think it was very brave of Ishu to dance with Raman even thou she didn't feel like dancing. If it was a normal girl like me, I wouldn't dance with my husband and I would pack my bag and leave my in-laws house 😆

Glad you made this post,... I was just going to talk about this!

I agree. I don't think Raman's way of handling this situation is correct. He needs to realize that Shagun will never stop trying to get in his way, and the only thing he can do to really show her that he doesn't give an eff (ahem... censored), is move on with Ishita and let his actions be his words. If he had just danced with Ishita as planned, it would have been so passionate and sexy, that Shagun would have rotted anyway. There was no need to dance with her first, make her fall, say all those things, and then bring Ishita up. In doing what he did, he just hurt Ishita without even realizing it. And Shagun, whats to say tomorrow she won't come back to him and say: "Oh, you still danced so passionately with me... you cant say it was all fake"... or "You still chose to dance with me first" or something stupid like that. She can, and she will. Thats what she is.

If I were Ishita, I would have been just as upset, hurt and angry. For a few reasons:

1. Ishita and Raman rehearsed for their first real dance together, and he has shown so much care by gifting something to her for the first time... she sees him practiving hard to match her salsa skills, ... they went on our first "date" because of all this...its just, so many "firsts". Its a beginning of "dosti". This is such a special moment for Ishra. Just look at Ishita's happiness when she comes out all ready in her salsa dress (probably excited also because she knows Raman wanted her to wear one so bad). She's all ready for a really nice dance, and who knows... maybe she thought of a way to say sorry to him during the dance or after the dance. She was all set! (btw... beautifully expressed scene by Divyanka... hats off!! 👏⭐️ her pain was so real). And then, after all this... to hear from Raman that he wants to dance with Shagun?... not only that... but he also says first love, HUMDUM... and all that unnecessary stuff?!!? Thats just intolerable. 😭

2. Raman leaves Ishita to stand there and watch him dance passionately with Shagun. Obviously, seeing him and her like this must have been unbearable. Whats more, when Ishita is about to walk away, Raman stops everything and says this was fake to show Shagun her real place. But why?? Why does he need to do that? Does Shagun still matter to him that much that he has to go do something like this to prove that he has moved on? Ishita must feel like a used doll at this point. Is Raman just using her to show Shagun that he doesnt need her? Ishita was happy in this marriage just for Ruhi. She was fine as a mother. She never asked for, and never expected to get Raman's love. But what she must be feeling now after all of this... is that in addition to being Ruhi's mom for Raman, she is also a prized trophy for him to show off in front of his ex-wife. The "dosti" that she thought was happening... is it really dosti? She thought this dance was another step for her and Raman's relationship... but was it ever this for Raman? Was Raman only doing this dance in the first place... to show Shagun? And... then what about the necklace? That too? Everything has changed meaning for Ishita now.

3. The Dance: As I mention above, this dance has a lot of meaning for Ishita, and she probably thought it held the same meaning for Raman. But, now... after seeing all of this... it is no longer the same special dance. As Divyanka said in the SBB segment... its very disappointing when you work so hard and have so many expectations... and nothing happens as planned. This dance is just for show now. Ishita must think that it is all just so that Raman can show Shagun that he has moved on. It isnt about the dance anymore... its about what the dance is showing to the people. For Ishita, this dance was supposed to be joyous, a new stage for her and Raman... closer to love. But now, she thinks that its all a plan for Raman. For him, none of the passion he is showing in the dance is real. Its just to show Shagun. Divyanka's portrayal of this during the dance... her distress and anger while she is dancing... it is all a perfect portrayal of what Ishita must be feeling. 👏⭐️ It looks fantastic in the news segments. I cannot wait to see it on screen tomorrow!

Sorry for this huge rant. I just had to let out my thoughts. I saw some posts before on how Divyanka's dancing skills don't look as great as KPs and Anita's. But guys... this dance is different now. And Divyanka is showing it to us perfectly! She isnt supposed to be dancing all happy and in-love. Because Ishita is rightfully upset. Besides, even in all of this... Divyanka and Karan still dance perfectly well together!! Just look at the SBB segment again. Theyre flowing!! Its going to be SUPERB. 👏

OH. and also. all of this being said. From Raman's point of view, maybe what he is doing is right... because for him, his relationship with Ishita IS moving forward... and the passion he is going to show in his dance IS real. But what he has done with Shagun has just messed it all up. It looks, and has come out all wrong!

Besides, point is, this is Indian TV. All of this had to happen, because its important for the dramatic storyline. In all of this, Simmi is moving towards Shagun (😭).

ok, im going to stop now haha.

well i didn't like the comparisons either...but raman was drunk and shagun provoke him...she thinks that she is best in the entire world and ishu is nothing infront of her...he wanted to show shagun her real place...and what place ishu has in his heart...
tdy the black lady has saw that he has clearly moved on from her...come out from your delusional world lady...he is no more yours...

some people doesn't need explanations...they understand...but for people like shagun...its needs to be shown infront of her eyes...

if i was ishu...i would be hurt and heartbroken too...but then i am a person who doesn't leave anything in the middle...thus i will dance with him...but after the dance...i would have told him...what he have done is wrong...

if i were ishu i would feel very insulted
i would feel that raman is dancng with me to prove something to shagun like he did on the holi party
raman did not have to do so much drama
if he would have ignored shagun then it would have been a better answer to shgun saying raman still loves her

I completely agree with you. But, Raman has always been like this. He's had a flawed character, he's not one of those typical good hero's of Indian television, who always do everything right. Since, the beginning he's shown immense hatred towards Shagun and to some extent, it's completely justified he's been through hell and back, lost his son in the process, he's broken but he's always been obsessed with Shagun, frankly I didn't even like the phone conversation between Raman and Ishita, though it was adorably cute, it was solely focused at Raman trying to make Shagun jealous. But there's been a change, he has now, seriously started respecting Ishita in his own way. He isn't the expressive kinds but he does his bit to prove it. What he did today's episode. According to Ishita's perspective he was wrong, but she has no clue in the world to what he has been through, she's never had to deal with those emotions, but the CV'a are doing an excellent job showing her character help Raman out of his misery in terms of their nok- jhok. he's not even realizing that he is not the same Raman anymore. But what he did today was just a collection of all the anguish and hatred he's had for so long.and as for Ishita, she has to bear with him and she's doing an excellent job at that with her own way of expressing her grief, now one gets to understand Ishita's perfect expression while Dancing. They've shown it beautifully, and hope Raman gets out of hate Shagun phase and get into Loving ishu mode soon :D

Well said! ..But I do think he can better get out of his bitter past by talking about it to Ishu ...making her feel what he has been through ..she also has had a bitter past with Subbu ..infact I wouldn't say it's been any different for her except that they didn't actually marry ...so I hope they have a conversation where both bring up their pasts and talk about it and put it behind them ...that's when true ehsaas can begin!

Yeah I don't give a crap that Raman made a huge public speech about Ishita completes him and shit. f**k that shit. I'm pissed. That was such a dick move.

I HATED Raman's move today. At the end of the day, she was humiliated. If someone did that to me, I'd find it super difficult to move past that. Freaking she was so excited too! And then he PUBLICALLY says no. And even that, what the f**k was the reason to call Shagun his first love, etc. That it also a slap to the face. The only person I liked today was Mihika and that too when she told Ishita she didn't need to see the tamasha and started taking Ishita away. What Raman did was rude, offensive, and terrible.

On top of that, why does Raman always feel the need to pit both women against each other. Seriously. You need to realize Shagun's darkness to see Ishita's greatness? Give me a break. And what was the need to humiliate Shagun like that? Yes she's been annoying as heck, but today was just stupid. Granted she did through herself into that trap. But still. So ridiculous all around.

I want Ishita to be pissed off at him and ignore him or even publicly insult him. But she won't because she's been raised with manners (yeah I'm pointing fingers at Toshi's upbringing). Raman needs to thank his lucky stars everyday that he's gotten a woman who has agreed to selflessly look after his daughter and family. Ishita could've just said no the marriage and adopted and married into a family that loved her and he could've gotten stuck with a woman who didn't particularly care about Ruhi. He thinks of himself as such a prize and doesn't realize the real prize is Ishita. Such a rude senseless guy.

I'm so upset at the way this entire showdown went down. I can't believe people are taking his side or even finding ways of defending him.

I can't seem to get myself to like anything he did in the minute he called Shagun to dance with him because of how hurt and humiliated ishita was. Just like he did his grand speech of comparing them both, Ishita should have just given him a lecture on his behaviour, that too in front of ruhi he did all this, why such childish behaviour.

I would have just walked away the minute he asked to dance.

I hope Ishita doesn't forgive him too easily but too much is going on, I don't think we will get the chance to see an upset Ishita for long, CVs a lot of the time forget to add essential scenes.
