I completely agree with you. But, Raman has always been like this. He's had a flawed character, he's not one of those typical good hero's of Indian television, who always do everything right. Since, the beginning he's shown immense hatred towards Shagun and to some extent, it's completely justified he's been through hell and back, lost his son in the process, he's broken but he's always been obsessed with Shagun, frankly I didn't even like the phone conversation between Raman and Ishita, though it was adorably cute, it was solely focused at Raman trying to make Shagun jealous. But there's been a change, he has now, seriously started respecting Ishita in his own way. He isn't the expressive kinds but he does his bit to prove it. What he did today's episode. According to Ishita's perspective he was wrong, but she has no clue in the world to what he has been through, she's never had to deal with those emotions, but the CV'a are doing an excellent job showing her character help Raman out of his misery in terms of their nok- jhok. he's not even realizing that he is not the same Raman anymore. But what he did today was just a collection of all the anguish and hatred he's had for so long.and as for Ishita, she has to bear with him and she's doing an excellent job at that with her own way of expressing her grief, now one gets to understand Ishita's perfect expression while Dancing. They've shown it beautifully, and hope Raman gets out of hate Shagun phase and get into Loving ishu mode soon :D

Yeah I don't give a crap that Raman made a huge public speech about Ishita completes him and shit. f**k that shit. I'm pissed. That was such a dick move.
I HATED Raman's move today. At the end of the day, she was humiliated. If someone did that to me, I'd find it super difficult to move past that. Freaking she was so excited too! And then he PUBLICALLY says no. And even that, what the f**k was the reason to call Shagun his first love, etc. That it also a slap to the face. The only person I liked today was Mihika and that too when she told Ishita she didn't need to see the tamasha and started taking Ishita away. What Raman did was rude, offensive, and terrible.
On top of that, why does Raman always feel the need to pit both women against each other. Seriously. You need to realize Shagun's darkness to see Ishita's greatness? Give me a break. And what was the need to humiliate Shagun like that? Yes she's been annoying as heck, but today was just stupid. Granted she did through herself into that trap. But still. So ridiculous all around.
I want Ishita to be pissed off at him and ignore him or even publicly insult him. But she won't because she's been raised with manners (yeah I'm pointing fingers at Toshi's upbringing). Raman needs to thank his lucky stars everyday that he's gotten a woman who has agreed to selflessly look after his daughter and family. Ishita could've just said no the marriage and adopted and married into a family that loved her and he could've gotten stuck with a woman who didn't particularly care about Ruhi. He thinks of himself as such a prize and doesn't realize the real prize is Ishita. Such a rude senseless guy.
I'm so upset at the way this entire showdown went down. I can't believe people are taking his side or even finding ways of defending him.
I would have just walked away the minute he asked to dance.
I hope Ishita doesn't forgive him too easily but too much is going on, I don't think we will get the chance to see an upset Ishita for long, CVs a lot of the time forget to add essential scenes.
