Hey guys this is slightly long. Sorry for updating so late.

Part 4

Ruhi had started sleeping in her own room and Ishita use to sleep on the couch. Ishita would have gone and slept at her Amma's house but sometimes Ruhi wakes up early and looks for Ishita and so she use to sleep in the couch in Raman's room. She had started referring to their room as Raman's room and the change had not been unnoticed by Raman who did not know what to do to make Ishita normal again.

Raman and the entire family had tried to talk to her.

Romi used to come back from college and scream in excitement almost every other day for some reason or the other. "Bhabhi, aaj main parathewali gali se garam garam gobhi aur pyaaz ke parathe laya hun. Khake ke dekhiye, ek dum mast makhan hai". Or he would come to Ishita and say," Bhabhi, mera ek dost hai, uske papa London se chocolates layen hai. Taste kariye na." Ishita would always politely take things, taste them and thank Romi for his efforts with a smile. The problem was her smile never reached her eyes.

Even Rinki tried in her own small way. She had made a painting in college as part of her coursework which she dedicated to Ishita and came and gifted it to her in front of the whole family. Ishita again came the smile which everyone knew did not come directly from her heart. She appreciated Rinki's talent and praised her work. She thanked her for the painting but was still emotionally untouched. She hung the painting near Raman's bed and never looked at it again.

She could see everyone was trying but she was not doing all this to hurt anyone but because she herself was hurt and broken. The events of Parmeet's fiasco had made her feel that this family had not accepted her and will never accept her for anything more than being Ruhi's mother.

Toshiji had one evening called Ishita to her room and said." Dekh puttar, is ghar main humein bahut drama dekha hai. Is ghar main bahut siyapa hua hai phele. Mere toh dono bacchon ki kismat ho kharab hai. Phele us Shagun ne is ghar main sabko nachaya. Uski wajah se Raman se bahut dukh jhelein hai. Bhallaji aur Raman ne 6 saal tak ek dusre se baat nahi ki. Phir is ghar se woh Adi ko leke chali gayee aur ek 6 mahine ki Ruhi ko meri god main chod gayee. Na ki yeh sab hua putter but sabse dukh toh mere puttar Raman ne jhela hai. Woh toh bechara toot hi gaya tha. Usne Shagun se bahut pyaar kia aur badle main usse sirf dokha mila. badi mushkilon se toh woh sambhala hai puttar. Te ek taraf Raman te dusri taraf. Simmi bechari ki kya galti thi jo usse Param jaisa kamina pati mila. Ab tu hi bata apne bachon ke dukh ke saamne main tujh per kaise bharosa kar leti. Mujhe laga tu bhi Shagun jaise is ghar main naatak karegi. Te yeh saari bahuein hoti hi islie hai. Aur phir main apni Simmo ka dukh kaise dekti. Islie ab sab baatein chod puttar or maa ke gale lag ja. Hum sabko maaf karde."

Ishita,"Mummyji, aap please mujhse maafi mat mangiye. Mujhe itna chota mat feel karayiye. Main aap logon se bilkul naraaz nahi hun. Main aise jaan mooch kar behave nahi kar rahi. Bas mujhe pata hai ki aap log mujhe sirf Ruhi ki maa mante hai. Na Raman mujhe kabhi apni biwi ka darja de sakenge aur na aap mujhe apni bahu maan sakegi poori tarah. Main bahu hone ka faraz nibhaoongi or hamesha is ghar ka khayal rakhungi lekin ab emotionally attach hoke main khudko nahi sambhal paooungi. Islie mummji aap please meri baat samajiye. Maine toh aapko maa maankar hi parmeet waali saari problem batayee."

Toshiji, "fitte muh mera, galati ho gayee ki nahi maani, jaan de puttar."

Ishita smile timidly, nodded and left the room. Raman who had heard the entire conversation was hurt to know how aloof and alone Ishita feels. He is sad to know that Ishita feels like an outsider in the family which she had very well accepted.

It is not like Ishita wanted to hurt the Bhallas in any manner. She had become a quite person in general. Even the Iyer's had noticed it. She used to not talk much to anyone. She was sweet and cordial to everyone but she would keep to herself. She took care of every person's need in both the Bhalla and Iyer family and met everyone with a brave face but if one saw her eyes, they could see that everything was not okay with her. Her eyes were like deep pools of darkness where sadness had permanently taken seat.

Ruhi had started sleeping in her room but after a few days she insisted that she will sleep on the same bed with Raman and Ishita. Ishita agreed as she realized that there is no use arguing with Ruhi. So they slept like old times with Ruhi sleeping between Raman and Ishita. Raman held her hand but Ishita withdrew it the moment Ruhi fell asleep. Raman was looking at Ishita and was trying to start a conversation with her.

She then extended her hand to the side table and picked up her mobile. She called up Bala jiju and said," Jiju, sorry itni late phone kiya. Aap log so gaye hoge na?" Raman could not hear what Bala was saying. Ishita continued, " Jiju, kya aap mujhe kal subah jaldi coffee shop main mil sakte hai college jaane se phele?" She contined after Bala's reply." Nahi sab theek hai. Koi problem nahi hai but mujhe accha nahi lag raha. Bahut low feel kar rahi hun. Aapse milke baat karungi toh shayad better feel hoga." Bala must have agreed to meet her. She said,"Thank you so much Bala Jiju. I'll see you tomorrow morning." Ishita kept the phone.

Raman felt so angry at himself that Ishita had to call someone else when she feels low when he, her so called husband is lying down on the same bed and is in front of her. He realized how it is his fault that he has never made Ishita feel that she can come to him with her problems and that he equally cares about her. He resolved to make everything okay before the sun sets tomorrow. He already knew what hurt Ishita the most after listening to her conversation with his mother, Toshiji.

Hey the next part is the last part where the Bhalla's will in their sweet style manao Ishita to become normal. Sorry for updating so late but had a lot of work. Hope you guys liek this part. Will try and update the last part tomorrow or dayafter.

loved how you have portrayed ishu.. taking a stand absolutely true in the fact that she had accepted the family whole heartedly but they had not she was merely ruhi ki mumma.. but i think romi and rinky are so sweet atleast attempting to mend the relationship... poor raman feels so bad that even with him being there for ishu he isnt really there... i really feel that ishu has taken the right step... she has been hurt so much and is scared to re attach herself to the bhallas as she cant guarantee that when a situation arises again then they will support her...
