You saw them during your exam?! I feel you girl because instead of focusing on my derivatives during my math test I was thinking of Ishra. I don't even know how my brain functions since Ishra and numbers have no connection!!!

Coming to your post...it was the most insightful post I have read on this forum so far. I truly don't mind the arguments either because I feel they give dimension of sorts to the couple. And like you pointed out YHM is portraying reality. I have seen so many people doubting their spouse and asking them to leave during a fight . It's normal and a pretty general reaction especially since Raman has had Shagun cheat on him before.
But...I'm a romantic and I don't mind their fights because like you said, there are a lot more to come.

As far as the things you mentioned in your post... yes, Raman and Ishita have a back-and-forth argument like most normal couples do. And yes, in real life, a lot of times, within arguments, someone or the other will end up saying something along the lines "throw you out of the house". The issue I have with it is that when we show it on celluloid or on screen, we tend to romanticize everything that is shown. It just becomes another facet of a character's personality and we overlook it or sometimes even accept it without pointing fingers...There are a lot of firmer, less meaner ways of asking Ishita to spill the beans. So I just wish Raman would use those tactics instead.

I absolutely LOVEEE what you said about relationships are about weathering the peaks and the valleys - BRILLIANT!!! I absolutely agree! Raman and Ishita have to go through ups and downs to see what their relationship can withstand. And these are the kind of trails that will let them know that they can always count on each other for help. No relationship is stable and a couple can only begin to love, respect and admire each other when they see each others strengths and weakness. I am completely fine with Raman and Ishita going through a few low moments before they can feel the bliss of the highs.

And YESS!!! I am a TOTALL ROMANTIC!!!

Thank you for your post :D And welcome back to the forum from your hiatus :D

Thank you so so much dear.😊😊 ISHRA has become like oxygen to us now.LOL😆 & yes @red I do agree that Raman could have just rephrased his questions a little better but I suppose what happened at Adi's bday party was one of the reasons why he was too harsh sort of diverting his frustrations & anger on another and the fact that he was confronting Ishita of something that had actually twisted his life 360 degrees in the past might be another reason he overreacted.

@pink it's 100% true. Stick two different people with two different sets of expectations under one roof and it ain't always going to be shrimp and grits on Easter.😉 So clearly ISHRA have to work their ass off in their relationship but oh well, Nothing that's WORTHWHILEis ever easy right.😃

I was 10 years old and I really liked Neev/Prachi from a show called Kayamath. Then, when I was 12, I liked Mayank/Nupur of Miley Jab Hum Tum. And at both times, by like, I am trying to imply that I felt fervently and ardently obsessed. But in matters such as this, I got out of Neverland quick. So, I stopped by not to add my two cents to the main matter of your post but to answer your question. I am a cynic and I don't really mind being one. Sometimes, this inability to fully acknowledge one's inert romantic self becomes an obstacle between them and their imagination. I, for one, think life will be stupid without it. But then, I don't have the usual thoughts of romance. I have the ones that are extracted out of pain and suffering and fear and all the things I can see for myself. The more cynical I get, the more I believe in love because by a lot of factors like ego, separation, untold feelings etc, love becomes an excruciating business, one that happens to most people who feel and feel too much.

Speaking of the show, I don't think Raman and Ishita love each other yet. Ishita and Raman have both had respective romantic failures and Raman seems like the one who'd take longer to let the past go, embrace the new. They are connected by a sense of responsibility towards their daughter and are bound by marital duties. If the story stays as good as it is now, I'd be convinced for their love at the end of the next six months. I agree with you, the romance need not be rushed. But then again, I wouldn't mind a little less of the high-voltage drama which gets borderline lame every now and then.

This is one post that made me want to respond immediately. Good stuff, yeah?

PS I dun get why people have to sever all ties with people and entertainment during exams either. It's always good to find people who dun fall prey to the convention.

Oh my dear lord, it had to be a math test!😲 Our brains are no longer functioning dear. & Don't worry, it seems like you've be diagnosed with 'ISHRAMANIA' as well, just continue watching more of ISHRA and it should be fine.LOL😆

& @red, AGREED. Raman's behaviour is certainly a reflection of his bad past and I know that some of them might think, it's been long enough he should get over it by now. But in reality, it's never easy, 'moving on' has never & will never be easy, and with the kind of betrayal he suffered from a woman he had loved with all his heart, it is most certainly not going to be easy. It will take time...but eventually he will learn to move on, when he realizes that creating new special memories with Ishita&Rhui is more WORTHWHILE than dwelling on the bad memories of his past.
