What makes you stop watching an Ekta serial

The female leads used to get married N no. Times.
A lot of pre wedding kids. Kiska bacha kiska hai. Lot of confusion over that.
The male lead shown as the biggest jerk. Sleeps around, keeps on doing shakkk on her biwi. When his wife needs his support he is never their.
She keeps breaking the jodis.
Anuraag prerna :'(
The most brutal thing she did was with Prem n Mukti. I mean they reunited on one side of the road, they cross the road n Mukti dies on the other side of the road.

Also commenting on what SRKLuvr said... Kasuti Zindhagi Ki had Prerna marrying Anurag, then Bajaj, then Anurag and then Bajaj... until I was confused who Prerna's husband was...🤔😕

best part was after becoming par nani and par Nani. Prerna n Anurag die unite forever. 🤣.

too much negativity

Screw up social message and distorts family with affairs, multiple marriages and illegitamate children (affairs, ONS with sister in law etc...disgusting and downgrade family value)

Character butcherization ... what she is showing about Raman is currently nothing because he is still in the initial shock stage of doubting he is the father so not thinking of DNA test etc but in other shows she has made intelligent multibillionaires fall prey to blackmail from evil sister in laws example Jai Walia in Kasam Se after ONS with Pia!!! She doesn't leave an ounce of intelligence in the male characters initially strong and the lead heroine is shown to be unrealistically sacrificial!

My gripe is why can't Ekta show two people in a strong marriage dealing with issues as they arise, understanding each other despite not agreeing with each other.

I actually like that she's prolonging the nok jhonk between IshRa in YHM its more relistic rather than having attraction to each other all of a sudden. It would be nice to see a build up of that. First learning to understand each other, becoming friends and then progressing. And I certainly hope my fears of Shagun wanting to come back to Raman at a later date and him actually accepting her back doesn't come true..but then again I should have high hopes , afterall it is an Ekta show and she runs out of ideas after consumation of how to proceed with the story in a decent manner. This is when I will stop watching YHM!!!

Agree with you on all the points.
I can't stand stupidity in the leads, be it the male or the female! How the hell did they become professionals if they were so stupid!!! 😒 I can't get it why Raman doesn't use his brains or why Ishita believes whatever crap Shagun tells her. Both are shown too gullible.
And yeah, Ekta's penchant of marrying off the leads to unsuitable partners and keeping them apart for years is such a turnoff ... that you end up hating the show.

What ruins it for me is all of the above .. and when body doubles are used. A certain show had too much of this .. if the leads cant find to be together to shoot .. its time to find something else to watch

what a perfect observation...

well according what i have read Ekata gives personal views on each and every episode and scenes in the initial stages of her every new show and then she hand overs the show to her creative team and that is the time the quality of the show starts going down...

her most annoying habit is villain / vamp of her shows never get caught and even if they get by some miracle they are cut lose very easily...

plus lead are smart one moment and dumb next moment is another of her specialty,...

heroin always passes judgment based on one sided story feed to her against hero...

Great post and I totally agree.! I've also started watching lots of Ekta shows but lost interest as the plot gets silly and the characters are compromised.

However, she doesn't seem to care what audience likes or dislikes she repeats pretty much the same formula in all her shows.

This show too has had a promising beginning but now with the paternity track being dealt with so poorly I'm sure people r turned of. I used to stay up to watch it... Now watch on reruns... Then I will revert to only reading reviews then find a new show to follow.

Sadly predictable Ekta!

Its been quite some time since i saw an Ekta show..😛 So i really dont know how she has evolved ever since..😛

But in the past..i have watched shows like KSBKBT, KGGK, KTH..

I hated how she dint let the leads be together anytime.. [Sujal-Kashish esp😭😭 one of my favourite onscreen pair]

And ya the leap factor..sometimes leap is good because you want to see your favourite actors on screen all the time😃😃..but i would really prefer if she could end it decently without a leap rather than drag it too much...😊😊
