- the incessant leaps
- the actors who play the roles of the grownup kids of the leads sometimes look older than their parents 😕🤪
- the stupid reasons which ekta uses to separate the leads sometimes, honestly sometimes they just need a heart to heart and that convo takes place only after a FREAKING LEAP. Like Urghh 😡
- the fact that all her shows have this one female character - the vamp - who always has a 'uska pati sirf mera hai' mindset, nevermind even if he is over a 100 years old with 6 kids and like 2 dozen grandkids. I still shudder when I recall Meera from Kyunki who WANTED Mihir even when Karan and all the kids had GROWN-UP kids of their own!!!!🤪
- there is always a rape track 🤢😡🤬 no matter which show.
- the men are stupid and useless in her shows used only to provide sautens and sperms.
- the story loses its way after the first few months and there are times when you remember what happened on the show way better than the writers do 😕 😆
- Almost all the men in her shows sparing the babujis and dadajis and nanajis have multiple women vying for them even if he is dumber than a bag of rocks at times 🥱
- the OTT acting which eventually gets in every show, the loud headache inducing and deafening scores especially during one of those scenes where the truth about the vamp is revealed or the heroine is criticizing everyone in her family for being wimps and immoral, especially if the family is protecting their son who usually has raped a girl and only the heroine supports the victim. 😡
- the fact all her female leads are always compared with one goddess or another and only and only when she is with her hubby does she seem complete and then their pair is the very example of ram-sita and radha -krishna, which in my opinion is stupid, because Ram Sita never got a long married life - she was kidnapped by ravan and kept hostage for years, next she was ousted from her home and kingdom because of the accusation of a dhobi and then she asked mother earth to basically accept her back. How does THAT make for a happily married life example? Not to mention the fact Radha Krishna NEVER got married to each other - they were lovers but not one that got a happily ever after.
- her shows basically go on for an eternity. You could get married, have kids and basically tour the world many times over and even THEN you would find the same track being recycled over and over again, so even if you miss an episode or two no need to fret the story wont have made a movement in the least.
- the plastic surgery bit which every show has sometime or the other and of course the replacements as well - which is somewhat the same. It absolutely kills your buzz as a fan sometimes to watch the pair you loved being demolished so badly.
