I'm pretty sure Raman is going to turn up at Ishita's award function. So here's my take on the event. Raman is currently bothered by the possibility that Ruhi is not his child but Ashoks. I have a feeling that when he reaches the ceremony he will have to stay and will hear Ishita's acceptance speech. Her award is for social service to kids. Knowing ishita I have a feeling she will say something about how 'dil ka rishta' is above khoon ka rishta, and though she can't hve kids, her love for them is incomparable sometimes even to the love their own parents are capable of giving. Whether it's her sisters kid or the child of a man who has insulted her, sent her parents to jail and broken her engagement. Just because someone has given birth to a child doesn't make them good parents, it is the love for the child that forges a relationship, and it's not conditional on anything. I hope that she says something like this and makes Raman realize that whoever Ruhi's father is, it is he who loves her and cares for her making everything else irrelevant. I hope he sees how Ishita loves Ruhi and accepts her as her own child despite her hatred towards him...just a prediction, and perhaps some wishful thinking.
