Nigaar Khan opposite Siddharth Vasudev in Buddha!

Zee TV recently launched its Magnum Opus project Jodha Akbar and certainly its next big launch would be none other than B.K.Modi's dream Project 'Buddha'.


We at TOI.com consistently keep our readers updated with exclusive stuff on Buddha, similarly sticking to the norm; here we come up with some more names joining the castlist. Kabir Bedi, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Gungun Uprari were few names reported earlier.

However, the latest to join the bandwagon is the graceful Nigaar Khan, who last essayed the vampire's role in Life OK's Savitri. Here in Buddha, Nigaar will play the role of Mangala, the main negative lead of the show. Mangala is Sudhodhana's (Sameer Dharmadhikari) second brother's wife.

While Sudhodhana's second brother is played by our very own Siddharth Vasudev. Siddharth acted in shows like Amrit Manthan, Madhubala and is known for his stint from Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahani Jhansi Ki Rani. Recently he was in news for getting married to beautiful Reshmi Ghosh.

Siddharth and Nigaar will play husband-wife in Buddha. When contacted, Nigaar stated, "It's very initial stage and I think we should talk on this may be next month."

Nigaar and Siddharth had already started shooting for the same.
