In Conversation With Karan V Grover - The Quintess

The young and versatile Television star Karan V Grover talks to B'Khush . Enjoy the converstation and get to know more about the real individual behind "Arjun Goenka" from Saarrthi or "Karan Prasad" from Zee Tv's "Yaha Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli".

You are a Chemical Engineer by profession...how and when did you decide to be an actor?
Karan : Engineering happened to me as it happens to most youngsters in our country , but after chemical engineering I did event management and that is when I started working with Opus Events , while working for Opus I realised I wanted to be on stage and not back stage.

Do you think it was a wise decision or is there any regret?

Karan : There is no regret at all . It was the best decision of my life.



You started your career on Television with Zee Music as an anchor.Do you think anchoring is more challenging than acting or vice versa?

Karan : Zee music was a lot of fun but I feel acting is more challenging . It is difficult to play characters in imaginary situations.



.Your debut role on Tv was "Arjun" in Saarrthi(Star Plus) - tell us how did it happen? and how was the experience?

Karan : It happened through an audition tha a friend of mine (Adita Wahi )informed me about, who eventually also played an important role in Saarrthi. Arjun was larger than life , his character was based on Arjun from Mahabharata who had to time and again fight his own people. Saarrthi is where I learnt the most.



Currently you are working in Zee Tv's "Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli" and your character "Karan" is immensely popular.What's your take on that character...can you relate to him in the real life?

Karan : Well karan is the ideal TV hero who loves his wife , dotes on his family and has immense faith in god . I feel karan is the way we would all want to imagine our sons and son in laws to be . I do relate with him most of the times , but sometimes my on screen character tends to be very ignorant and unreal , thts when I have to really act.



Do you have plans to make an entry to Bollywood in future?

Karan : No plans yet



What are the things you enjoy doing when you are not acting?

Karan : I love watching films and I also love travelling .
