"Jagmohan,yeh..yeh sab kya hua..kaise hua...Ab karan kaisa hai?.."
"Takur saab.."jagmohan ,vimal and others folded their hands in namasthe."patha nahi bhagwan mujhe kis paap ki sasa de rehe hai ki woh mere bete ko itna tadpa rehe hai...sasa dena hi tha to mujshe dete mere bete ko kyun?.."and jagmohan cried like a child in the arms of takur.
vimal said"karan ab observation mein hai.doctors are saying they can't say anyhing about him now .they have to wait for 78 hours"
"Honi ko kaun taal saktha hai? agar yeh accident nahi hotha toh aaj karan apne doston ke saath hamare ghar mein hothe kyunki kal hamare beti abha ki shaadi hai aur karan aur abha ek class mein padthe the..hame yeh kal patha chala jab abha ne hume bathaya..Chandra prabha ne yeh khabar akhbaar mein pada aur hum turanth nikle...humne abha ko is accident ke bara mein nahi bataya..nahi to woh ane ki zidd karegi...yeh...humne..mandir mein karan ke naam prasaad chadaya tha..yeh ligiye..karan ko kuch nahi hoga..hum hone nahi denge...karan bilkul tik ho jayega..yeh hamara vishwas hai...ab hume chalna chahiye..aap log apna khyal rakhiye...namasthe.."

At Swarn Bhawan,Chandra Prabha asked"arey aap aagaye...kaisa hai karan...?"
Takur told about the condition of karan and that he was under observation for 78 hrs and nothing could be said now."mujh se uski haalath dekhi nahi jaathi..bas saasein chal rahi hai aur kuch nahi.."
"hey bhagwan .. us bache ki jaan bachana..."Chandra prabha prayed.
They sat in front of the mandir silently for some time.Takur said"kal hamari abha uske swarn bhawan choodkar apne sasuraal jayenge.kuch din baath hum sab ko bhi yeh swarn bhawan chodna hoga.patha nahi woh yeh dard kaise sah payenge .abha ka swarn bhawan ke saath ek ajeeb sa rishtha hai jo shayad hum mein se kisi ko bhi nahi hai.aap ne dekha hoga na abha kaise in deewaron se bathein karthe the jaise woh uski bhasha samach rehi hai..."
"ha takur saab,abha ka swarn bhawan ke saath ek ajeeb sa ristha hai..lekin har ladki ki tarah use bhi ek din upne maayka choodkar apne sasuraal jana hoga...yeh swarn bhawan choodkar jaana hoga...lekin ek baath mujhe satati hai...shayad aap ko yaad hoga ,pichle varsh warn bhawan ki saal gire par ek baba aaya tha aur unhone kaha ki abha swarn bhawan ki na sirf beti hai balki bahu bhi hai..par yeh..yeh kaise ho saktha hai..."
takur said"hume yaad aaya...aisa bhi ho saktha hai ki jise abha ki shaadi ho rehe hai woh yeh swarn bhawan khareede..tab abha Sb ki bahu banegi na..."
"raath bohoth hogayi heh .thoda aaram kare..kal jaldi utna hai...chale.."chandra prabha told takur. they went up stairs.
In abha's room she was standing near the window thinking about her wonderful and happy childhood days in swarn bhawan.she was feeling heavy at heart since her dream about karan and also when she thought she has to say good bye to swarn bhawan tomorrow.she went and sat on the bed.she lied down but couldn't sleep.many thoughts came to her.she will go to her sasuraal tomorrow,where will the others go for they will also have to leave the swarn bhawan soon as it going to be auctioned soon.who will buy Swarn bhawan?Then she closed her eyes and prayed and slowley she fell asleep.
At the hospital ,karan was still unconscious and there was no improvement in his condition.vimal and shaili sent jagmohan and prathibha to their room to take some rest .vimal accompanied them to the room.when he came back,shaili was looking at karan,her eyes were filled .vimal asked"kya hua shaili tum ro rehe ho..."
she wiped her eyes and said"you know vimal...when i married and came to sasuraal all were ajnabis for me and all were like staring at me..i didn't know what to do or what to say.even you were not there to help me ,then it was karan who came to me and he promised me "bhabhi..mein karan..aapka sabse chota dewar..aap se promise karthe hai.aaj ke baath apke aakhon mein arzoo nahi aane denge...aap apke maayka bhool jayenge..is tarah hum apke khyal rakhenge..apko kuch bhi help chahiye you just tell me..i will always be there to help you .aap mujhe apna bhai hi samajhiye...trust me...aur aaj ke baad in aakhon mein arzoo nahi aana chahiye..." karan you don't see me crying, why don't you get up and come to console me..."
suddenly she wiped her tears and told vimal"vimal i want to tell you an important thing and i was waitng or papa and maa to go to the room.you remember one abha i have told you about,whom karan loves.she is this takur's daughter and it is her marriage tomorrow.i think karan might have known about the marriage somehow and i told you na he was very depressed when he called me and i think may be that caused this accident.i think we should tell abha and bring her here ."
"arey kal abha ki shaadi hai..aur tum keh rehe ho ki hume abha ko yehan lana chahiye..tumhara dimaag to nahi kharab hai..are kam se kam yeh sochiye uske sasuraal wale kya soochenge..ab bohot deer hogayi..hum kuch nahi kar sakthe.."
"vimal ek baar takur se baath kar ke dekho.."
"Nahi shaili agar takur ko abhsa ko lana hi tha to apne saath la sakthe the.tumne suna nahi usne kya kaha.he didn't tell tis to abha for if she happens to know she will want to come.that means he doesn't want abha to come and meet karan.yeh ummid tum chood do shaili"
