I was not aware of the story, as I did not see the movie. Wow, that would be something, but I really hope it's not. I really have no interest in Karan suffering for a month at the hands of Thakur.
I think in some ways the difference is that Thakur did not know what was happening to Abha and did not feel that pain of losing his daughter. He felt the pain of losing his HOUSE. So, it's rather uneven, don't you think?
Hopefully, we'll have a simple, beautiful conclusion to this story soon.
gp00,
If u haven't seen maine pyaar kiya , then u must watch it.MPK is a cult movie. Its one of the most romantic movie in indian cinema made by rajshree productions(my all time favourite). After watching the movie,u'll realise that the characters of Abha-karan have somewhat similarity with prem-suman (salman khan-bhagyashree).Infact character of veer bhaiyya has similarity with manohar bhaiyya of MPK.You'll be surprised to find some of the dialogues of YMGGK very similar to MPK.
For instance, 1) when jagmohan tells abha not dream of karan as she a daughter of a poor father and karan's father is rich and successful.
2) When jagmohan tells karan of stop dreaming of marriage as u don't even earn and karan says he'll find a job and become self dependent.
I also dont want karan to suffer at the hands of thakur but as they say wat goes around that comes around. Moreover, he has to get in touch with thakur family to get acceptence. So, there's no way he can avoid thakur and just bring abha to swarn bhawan.Abha loves her dad and the way to her heart goes thru thakur.
I m sure in the near future we'll have some heavy dialogues between thakur and karan.
Karan will definitely try to win thakur's heart as he wants to finish of the rivalry between the 2 families.
