Nice one, Hinna. Except, I didn't think Suyash knew about Amyra's 'gift'. She's kind of hidden it from everyone after she was shamed in school & got so embarrassed the one time she'd been 'sniffing' Suyash at the party.

Segment #11

Amyra smiled and said, "Yes!"

Suyash blushed. Was this a dream? He hardly had to convince her for the Europe trip. Her enthusiastic yes made him wonder if she would have agreed so happily if he had got a chance to propose her.

His face dropped when he remembered she was going to marry Vikram and the trip was only planned so that Harry can dig information about Vikram's background before his My married him.

His My? What was wrong with him? She was going to marry Vikram. Suyash steeled his nerves and sighed.

"Thanks Suyash. I'm very excited about the trip! It'll be a great escape."

Suyash frowned, "Escape from what, My?"

Amyra's heart fluttered for the first time hearing him call her 'My'; as if he was claiming her as his.

"Oh, you know, work stress, family pressure. This trip will be a breath of fresh air. I would also get to buy some French perfume."

Suyash rolled his eyes to act annoyed, but he was happy she had agreed to come to the trip. With him. And Vikram. And Tutu. Oh God! Suyash's hand went cold. She was going to marry someone else while his feelings for her kept growing.

Maybe seeing Vikram and Amyra together in this trip will help him forget about his feelings.

On the other side, the smell from his shirt was driving Amyra crazy. It could be her hormones kicking in, but she wasn't sure because this had never happened before. Something about his smell today was just pulling her towards him.

Why did she have to marry Vikram? Why did Suyash have to date Tutu? How will she survive the Europe trip without smelling Suyash or his shirt?

"Ams, are you sure everything is okay? You seem a bit off."

"Yeah, just pre-wedding jitters, I guess."

Suyash winced internally hearing about her wedding. Amyra sipped her coffee and mentally kicked herself. Maybe she does need a break. She promised herself to find a solution to her worries on this trip.

"Are you sure about this, Amyra?" Arvind looked skeptical.

"Of course, dad! Don't you want me to marry Vikram?"

Amyra prayed to God to convince her dad. She had to find out what she wanted and who she really wanted in her life. This trip might help her find answers.

Arvind wasn't convinced. He knew his daughter too well. Just few days ago, she was dead against marrying Vikram and now she wants to go to Europe with him. He had to be sure he knew what was cooking.

"My dear, it's not about me. I want you to want to marry Vikram."

"Of course, I want to marry him," Amyra bluffed how her PR job had trained her. "Besides, Suyash and his girlfriend are also going. It will be like a nice, long double-date. I totally need a break, Dad, and it'll be an opportunity for Vikram and me to bond before the wedding."

Arvind's heart was in his mouth the moment Amyra said Suyash's name. He had clearly instructed the boy to stay away from his daughter. If that boy learned what had really happened in the past, how Gautam Sehgal wrongly accused his father of murder and how Arvind had helped him cover his tracks with the help of his previous newspaper business, then Amyra would never forgive Arvind. He would also lose the marriage alliance of Vikram and the benefit of a resulting business partnership.

But how could he say no to Amyra? He loved his daughter. He was also scared she would "smell" out the truth if he tried to stop her. Instead he would let her go and arrange someone to keep a watch on her.

"Good, that means you will be in good company. Okay, Ami, let the us go shopping before you pack your bags and leave."

"Thanks Dad! It is so sweet of you."

Amyra became emotional and hugged her dad.

So basically, everyone has an agenda. Arvind and Vikram’s father have a dark past where they wrongly accused Suyash’s father of murder. Amyra wants to spend time with Suyash on the trip to understand what she really wants. Suyash wants to stay away from Amyra and wants Harry to dig out Vikram’s past for Amyra’s benefit. Vikram wants to get married for his business’s sake with Amyra.

The trip to Europe could be instrumental in bringing Suyash and Amyra closer, or closer to the truth. Also who would keep a watch on Amyra on behalf of Arvind.

I hope this segment made sense and I could do justice to the story 🙈 because each of you has done a fab job in your respective segments ❤️

So Arvind and Gautam are in cahoots and have wrongfully accused Suyash's dad of murder. It's a nice way to tie-in their forthcoming alliance too - each of them must be wanting the other to keep their silence on this matter and Amyra marrying Vikram and them being related would ensure that to some extent. Also, Vikram has his own agenda in furthering his career by marrying Amyra and it remains to be seen if he's mixed up in some shady business too since Amyra thinks he smelled all wrong.

Plus, another fact that Hinna mentioned in her segment - that Harry knew something about the Sehgals - needs to be brought in too!

Just one question - does Arvind know about Amyra's 'gift' of smell? I mentioned in my segment that she'd hidden it from everyone including her parents, but has Arvind figured it out?

And you've also left an opening for a new (or existing) character to 'keep an eye' on Amyra! Nice!

Does Harry know something? I was thinking of Harry more like an investigator. Suyash is an IT professional, even he can be shown to investigate. Just my suggestion, really upto the next writers.

Nope, Arvind only knows that Amyra likes some smell and dislikes some. He is her father, he must have seen her smelling what she liked when she was a kid. I don't think he has an idea that this is actually a gift or a power that helps Amyra make decisions.

What I had in mind was that Harry mught be related to the family, or maybe he witnessed something in his childhood. Now it's up to the next writer how they want to take it forward. It's not revealed yet whether Harry wants to help them or take revenge from them for what happened in the past!

Btw, I have summarized each segment on Page 1 and in the character sketches, I have highlighted in red the portions that need further exposition or plot openings that could be developed further so that makes it easier for writers when you miss out finer details like this one! Hope this helps!
