I already read a romance this month, so I went for Mexican Gothic instead. So far I've read two pages over two days.😆

Has anyone read/reading The Great Gatsby? How did you find it?

Radio Silence is not a romance. It’s more a coming of age novel. It’s an easy read because of its very short chapters.
That’s fine, you have read four books at top speed; you can take a break now 😆

I have! It is really interesting! The roaring twenties and American Dream..
I've only done one reading (not fond of re-reading much) but it has some iconic lines and passages which will stay with you.
Let me draw a parallel to the iconic Pyaasa here, shows the futility of money and how to certain people money is god and in the end you get nothing.
Funny how after a century, the society is more-or-less the same and hasn't been much changes except it is the screaming twenties not roaring🥺🤣 (kindly appreciate my dark humour)
You'll enjoy it. 🤗
Finished reading Radio Silence and with that I’ve completed my four books for the readathon.

Oh. It's tagged as LGBT and romance on GR, that's why I thought it is.
I'm just taking it easy now. Seems like my brain has decided that five good books a month is enough for it.
I have started reading Great Gatsby but I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it this month.

@bold: Pyaasa, the movie? I haven't watched it. But I get what you're trying to say. I started reading the book yesterday. I hope I like it just as much as you did.😊

There are still a few days left. Are you going to read any more books this month?

At the beginning of the month I wanted to read all eight but I realised it’s not possible so now I’m aiming to read at least two more.
Will start The Midnight Library tonight or tomorrow.
