Part 3 - I still Love him
They moved through the streets of village they reached, collecting all the details they need and by afternoon they are completely exhausted,
Vywaswi sat on a rock " I need some rest" Shresht nodded, "But we can't here, its really sunny today, lets go into that temple there"
Vywaswi looked at him and at a temple visible at a distance " You expect me to walk till there, and also we will be going to temple in these clothes, which are really dirty. You go, I will sit here"
Shresht almost shouted at her "Then atleast we will go to car",
Vywaswi shook her head " I don't have any energy, I need some time to walk",
Muttering to himself he handled her snickers which she took silently but didn't eat.
He smiled " You will store this one too?"
Vywaswi looked seriously at him and ate it immediately , " I stopped storing any thing either gifts or wrappers or feelings sir." saying that she threw away the wrapper , she stood up dusting her self and turned back to him " And for your kind info , I threw that one away" she gave him a mocking sweet smile and left.
Shresht huffed in frustration and followed her.

Days continued like that , but thankfully there are no major clashes between them again and Vywaswi ignored him a lot despite of his efforts to speak with her some how. When ever they are in office together, they used to work together in silence only with sounds of shuffling papers or computer keys. On one such day ...
The door to their room suddenly opened , followed by a shout of "Surprise" which made both of them look up and Vywaswi smiled " Hey Mish" ,but Mish stopped in her tracks and looked at Shresht with mouth hanging open. Vywaswi sighed with rolling her eyes and went to her dragging her inside and closing the door "Hey Mish, when did you come girl?"
Mish looked at Shresht and asked "Excuse me by chance are you Shresht?"
Shresht nodded "By chance are you my junior"
Vywaswi spoke silently "She is my class mate Sir"
Shresht nodded "So you came here to meet your class mate I presume"
Mish spoke almost defiantly "I came here to meet my best friend, but I certainly don't want to meet you." Then she turned to Vywaswi and asked "Why didn't you tell me?"
Vywaswi looked at her in confusion "Whats there to tell about a stranger"
Mish shook her head " What the hell, don't do these drammatics with me. How... ARGHHH How can you tolerate being with this guy ?"
Vywaswi rubbing her head "Enough Mish, just shut up okay. I am getting head ache"
Mish stopped but glared at Shresht and spoke " I will really appreciate if you give us girls some privacy Mister"
Shresht crossed his arms looking at her dangerously "This happens to be my cabin Miss"
Before Mish speak some thing , Vywaswi took hold of her hand and dragged her out and knocked Mohith's cabin , Mohith answered immediately and she smiled "Mohith actually my friend came to meet me and Shresht sir is being his usual self, can I occupy your cabin for a while"
Mohith smiled "So you girlies need some privacy na"
Vywaswi nodded ,and Mohith laughed "Let me put a spy camera before I leave then"
Vywaswi shook his head " Then I have no option but to throw your nearly compleeted thesis into a dumping yard"
He gave her a mock hurt expression "Why are you killing me girl"
Vywaswi laughed at his antics and he camee out "I will be bback in an hour, don't touch any documents okay"
As he left out, Vywaswi dragged Mish inside and locked the door "Mish , why did you react like that?"
Mish again shouted "What are you thinking Vywaswi, do you consider your self as any superwoman who is above all us normals, or do you consider your self as some saint or what? Last time I remembered you are as much human as I am so quit acting. Why the hell are you here? I mean that is Shresht, that very shresht you loved to your heart and you got rejected by and that very shresht because of whom you went into depression, how the hell can you face him again ? Do you want to again have a recurence or what?"
Vywaswi sighed " I am ignoring him and he is ignoring me, then whats the matter? He is almost like a stranger to me now?"
Mish spoke calmly "He is a strager to you? Yeah thats a news, then why the hell did you wear Red and Black Vywaswi. You stopped wearing those colors na"
Vywaswi gave a startled expression looking down her dress, and Mish continued "Why did you leave your hair loose ? Why did you have musk perfume on you? Why are you wearing heels? Vywaswi stopped wearing all those a long time ago, my Vywaswi told me that she will ready herself only for one person, and that person is certainly not a stranger for her . Now why are you making your self look beautiful for him? "
Vywaswi continued to be silent ,Misha glared at her "You know why I came here?"
Vywaswi looked at her , she continued " Gaurav called me and told me you rejected the fellow ship chance from Cambridge. What the hell is happening Vywaswi?"
Vywaswi spoke calmly " I already joined here by that time"
Mish countered it "You and me both know You can get off from here, with help of Professor Mishra. He can easily give you a transfer"
Vywaswi spoke calmly " I wanted to stay here. I signed in for a online course and Professor.Davis accepted to grant my fellow ship as long as I completed my assignments and submitted to him online and attended online lectures. I didn't loose any thing"
Mish spoke calmly "And what about your dream of going abroad and studying there?"
Vywaswi sighed "I can easily do that after my PG too"
Mish almost aske her desperatelly "Why do all this? Is it for him? Do you still love him?"
Vywaswi broke into sobs " Yes its all for him. Yeah I still love him, I almost want to shout at him I love you!but I can't. For three years my only wish to god is, atleast for once let me see his face , every spending minute , every hook and nook of college, I saw his memories. By luck God granted my wish , I can see him even though I woould not have thought to see him like this, but still I can see him, I can see his laugh, I can hear his voice, I can quarrel with him (having a smile on her lips) . I want to preserve these memories. I want to preserve as many memories of him as I can so that at end of day of my life I can die with a smile on my lips with his face fetched behind my closed eyes. I still love him Mish, I never stopped loving him. "
Mish sat beside her with tears in her eyes " What will you do when he leave you again"
Vywaswi smiled " I will continue my life again as usual, as I did last three years"
Mish spoke with a crying voice " Why are you doing this to your self , you are ruining yoour self "
Vywaswi spoke " I am not ruining my self Mish, I am preserving a little bit more of oxygen that my life needs more desperately. I would have gone to Cambridge, but then I can't see him , but I can't leave my dream of fellow ship also, thats why I signed for online fellow ship ater pleading Prof.Davis. "
Mish hugged her from side "Then why the hell are you ignoring him ?"
Vywaswi with tears falling from her eyyes "What am I supposed to do Mish? I can't be friend him again then it will become too painful. I don't want to discuss past, and this time I truly can't stand to see him with Mowlika. I don't have that much tolerance. So I am acting like a selfish girl who changed a llot and who hates him. Thats good for both of us"
Misha hugged her tightly as she cried her heart out " He may destroy my life as you say Mish, but he give me the motivation to evolve it. He is the dark to my light and light to my dark. I love him , and I will continue to do so till end of my life"

Meanwhile...
Shresht is fuming in his cabin "How dare she? what does she think of herself as? a junior treating him like that? But why did she react like that to him, what did he do to her, he doesn't even know her!" he snarled to himself ' probably vywaswi told some thing bad about me. but why do every body react like that?' Shresht sighed to herself and opened the door which is being banged to see Mowlika on other side " Shresht! why aren't you answering your phone man? you made me worry?"
Shresht shook his head " I am a bit busy Mowlika."
Mowlika scowled " Don't over work your self Shresht. Why the hell are you doing all the work, don't you have a junior under you?"
Shresht gave her a small smile "Its my work Mowlika. So I should be the one doing it . so what made you come here?"
Mowlika shrugged "Nothing, just felt like seeing you. You are spending far less time with me now a days "
Shresht sighed " Its nothing like that. I am a bit busy thats it. So hows your preparation going on"
Mowlika sighed softly " Its going on. but I am doing it in a slow pace since the exam is nine months away. "
Shresht frowned " So Mowlika does any one in your class joined PG yet?"
Mowlika gave him a incredible stare " What? How can any one join PG already. No one."
Shresht shook his head "Nothing . Just curious. Heard from some one that some of your class mates cracked PG"
Mowlika shrugged "May be they paid donation. "
Shresht not wanting to argue further spoke in a casual way " I saw Vywaswi today. She is with some other girl."
Mowlika looked at him strangely silent " where? "
Shresht spoke non chalantly "On my way to hospital. That other girl I remember now she is also your class mate."
Mowlika spoke "She is Misha, Misha Agarwal. Vywaswi became friendly with her, after I stopped speaking to her. Losers fit together"
Shresht looked at her questioningly "Loser?"
Mowlika huffed "yes , both are like some oddities, that girl Misha she is the girl whom professors always used to scorn, its like she is so silent. and Vywaswi you know about her, I don't even need to start. "
Shresht sighed "Correct, who will know about her more than me."
Mowlika gave him a worried stare "What happened Shresht, why are you asking about her?"
Shresht gave her a look " Nothing. "
Mowlika hugged him from side " I never again want to deal with her Shresht. Please don't bring her topic infront of me ever again"
Shresht spoke silently "Mowlika , let me clear you one thing. Vywaswi she is my best friend. Not was, she is and will always be. I can never let her go. Many a times we fought over this topic, but let me clarify this to you, in my life for me she is really important. Once I left her because of you, because of the ultimatum you gave me, but I regret it every minute of my life. I will never let her go again, and you has to understand this"
Mowlika glared at him " You will chose her over me? I am the one you love Shresht"
Shresht gave her a look which promised of death if she didn't shut up " I like you Mowlika, but if you give me the ultimatum this time, the answer won't be in favour of you." what came was a harsh sound of slap, which made the room silent and then a bang of door leaving Shresht alone in his room.

After a while Vywaswi came back to the cabin and sat infront of her desk doing her work as if nothing happene and Shresht chuckled "She left?"
Vywaswi nodded her head "Yes, I am sorry on behalf of her."
Shresht spoke calmly " All your friends they hate me don't they."
Vywaswi closed her laptop sighing "may be , how will I know what my friends feel?"
Shresht looked at her directly "Then what do you feel Ms. Verma?"
Vywaswi smiled sadly "Nothing"
Shresht became confused, whatever answer he expected it wasn't this certainly "Nothing?"
Vywaswi spoke " To feel some thing either love or hate for some one, they should matter for us. But you don't matter to me Sir. So there's nothing for me to feel about you"
Shresht nodded "Atleast why don't we start a fresh then.. A new friend ship perhaps"
Vywaswi smiled at him "Thanks for your offer, but I fear I has to decline. I stopped making new friends a long time ago. Now if you permit me, can I leave."
Shresht gave her a huff "No you are staying here, I am not giving you any permission. "
Vywaswi thought for a while "Its an event at friends place today, some what important, I need to make my self presentable."
Shresht thought for a while " You might leave but on one condition"
Vywaswi gave him a look "What?"
Shresht spoke non chalantlly " This weekend you will spend one full sunday with me."
Vywaswi spoke seriously "Sorry sir, but I can't. I have some other prior commitments. I don't need permission too, I am staying here." Saying that she sat at her desk and continued to do her work
