Very well written Proteeti. Yes I heard that both Ambika & Ambalika were not able to bear the tej of Rishi Vyasa butit was the maid who enjoy the part and hence Vidur was born as intelligent.
Thank you for writing about Vidur's past life, he had the curse of a sage and hence he was born as Daasi putra but was the most intelligent one.
