what a beautiful OS 👏 i completely loved it
i watched a documentary that's based on pakistan and the views of the younger crowd (or something like that i forget now). the boys said that if they participate in killing others, they will get a place in heaven because it's written in the Quran. At the time, i didn't know what to say because my mind couldn't grasp the fact that how can a holy book tell someone to kill another person?? then my sister read some of the english verses of the Quran and said that it's not like that at all; that people find defend themselves of killing by using Quran. i think when a boy is young, he is brainwashed by his father or some other elder figure and is told that that is the right way to heaven. pretty misleading

once again beautiful story
beautiful technique of describing things

Thanks hun! Im glad that you liked it..This isn't a topic that sits well with everyone and most people do consider it controversial. My aim here is to bring out the fact that what we see is not always the truth. There are always hidden layers and aspects to evrything, people(we) just need to analyse things before forming opinions by taking things at face value. No religion preaches violence or terror, its only humans who take things that suit them, tweak them and use them for their selfish purposes.

I'm a little out of words for the amount of detail you've given to this one. Glad to hear that. The way you've explained all that has been going on around us in the name of Islam and Jihad really hit home. I think it was necessary to explain that, especially as we know that it isn't true. One thing which I particularly liked in this one is how Asma put light on things which are the truth and not the misconstrued meanings that are taken. People like Asma is what we need to bring out the facts from misconceptions. Just like her, it is very essential for all of us to know our responsibiltiy and act accordingly so that we can stand strong for the truth. This issue of such actions (suicide bombing and killing thousands of people) have always been raising burning questions for many around us, portraying Islam in all negative light, giving it the title of a religion of terrorism while it actually is the religion of peace. Unfortunately, people even buy the crap is what surprises me the most. It's like you throw your sense out the window and accept whatever is fed to you.

With the way you've narrated this story of a religious woman, I said Masha Allah for it! Really well done, Tia! 👏 Thanks, again! Really appreciate it.

Thanks, Mayyo for clarifying this. Like Foxxy said, it's a lot of brainwashing and also playing to people's helpless state and using it to their advantage for getting their lousy job done.

I know many members won't appreciate this because of the whole "Jihad VS Quran" debate but you have put it up in beautiful words. Loved reading this OS.

Saraa.

Thanks, Saraa! Yes, but it is a matter of perception. 😳

Sorry it took so long to come around. I am here now. Tilda Swinton & Ezra Miller starrer We need to talk about Kevin a different yet very similar issue. If I say more, I will ruin the story. I love the way you have captured what is left of the family. Asma is perhaps the most affected in this case. Quality work from QualiT👏
