Anyways, how much English exams have changed in a year! I had a minimum word count of 1500 rather than a max of 600 :L You got an interesting topic this year - the unexpected. I had to write about a historical figure which ended up being Noor Inayat Khan - you should google her :)

Also, great job in getting in some current affairs; great to show that not all Muslims are hate loving maniacs. Loved it Shehroon, I'm happy you got your A/A* for this piece (PS: you may need it as it makes all the difference especially if your Shakespeare essay is rubbish like mine was - damn Macbeth :P)

Lol - I just had to make a change and I totally know what you mean, whenever I go from the UK.. I'm like so annoyed because of the weather. Going from a mega cold atmosphere to a scorching hot one. I'm going again this August - doing Eid there aswell :D My aunty lives there you see. Can't wait.

Anyhow, I didn't actually think about linking the start to the end. I think it was just an unintentional thing.

LOL - they have changed excessively!! Our year is fine but the years after ours (following year 10s) have to do all there exams at the end of year 11 hence meaning that they cannot resit any exams :O I'm happy that I can resit most ones except science as they are the new spec :?

This wasn't the real one, it was just the section B (if you remember or has this changed?).. Its the Information and Ideas section. The section A is about answering questions in the form of an essay after studying two articles.

I HATE SHAKESPEARE!! And its MACBETH. We did part of it in year 9 and I hate it. Its too hard to get around but I hope the essay is controlled assessment as those are easy. Most people cheat by writing it all out on a piece of paper and switching it on the last day of the controlled assessment. Never done that though as I think I'm gonna get caught :?
