:L I went to Alton Towers during the Easter Holidays. The cue for 13 took one and a half hours in the pouring rain. We ended up buying those dinky ponchos. Air took two hours to get on, but it was definitely the best one there. Lol at the ASR reference, hehe.
Oh, you're missing so much! I watch more English/American than Indian - there's just so much you can take of rhona-dhona crap. That's why I like EHMMBH, IPKKND and DEW and that's about it. That new one, Pyaar Ka Dard is quite good as well. And OMG, when Waterloo Road starts next year again, you HAVE to watch it, it's sooo good :P Whenever I think of the Apprentice, I just keep getting reminded of that girl who was first out who kept talking and talking and Lord Sugar had enough of her and fired her :L
I've got relatives like that :L Aunties and uncles who are babies! It's rediculous, and boys are deffo big headed as they grow up. I have a love/hate relationship with my 18 year old brother and my 4 year old brother is just annoying as hell. :L Shehroon, all boys are annoying at 14/15; I'm afraid they don't get any better when they grow up, unless they're gay, then they're like your bestie :P
Ah, free periods - I don't know how I went through twelve years of compulsory education without frees. They are like the GREATEST thing ever created. Saying that, the likelihood of actually getting ANY work done is nil - zero - nought.
The typical Asian subjects lmao! You can not get more predictable :P Don't listen to what anyone else says, if you feel passionate about something, then you follow that path - don't let anyone discourage you. I recommend you do A science, because just having one down shows that you are an able student, plus science can go into anything! Universities love sciences; you can do a science and apply for every course under the sun. You see, I was the same with maths; I'm really good at it, got an A* at GCSE and I am good at it in AS as well but believe me, the jump between GCSE and AS is ridiculous! The things you are expected to know and understand is mind blowing - and there is Maths coursework! (You'll have PLENTY of coursework to do at A-Levels :L)
Most of the subjects you do at GCSE have no real difference when you get to A-Level, it's only a lot more in-depth. My Chemistry course now is just everything I learnt at GCSE, but like three times the detail so it's easy to get the hang of it all. But don't let that fool you; the hardest thing I found this year was the jump between GCSE and A-Levels - it's so big and I have no idea how they think people are supposed to manage to leap that gap after being off for three months :S
Well I had my brother in the year above, but we don't talk :L It can get frustrating but that's why you have friends, and I found it really helpful talking to people in my school who were in the years above - don't worry, they don't bite :P
Anyways, sorry for the late reply - been really busy with trips :L
(Ah, look at me spamming your post :P)
