Hi Kanky!
Congratulations on your new gallery! I loved the title 'My Archieve of Emotions'.... seems like my kinda title....😳
I love reading some FFs on IF... but I have a special love for poems... and so this poem naturally captured my attention.
Beautiful poem!!!
I loved the flow of the poem... it was like a small story... first describing the deep burried pain and tears that are forming... emotions that are ready to come out....the cry that no one able to hear... and then the loud thunder rumbling in the background... inviting her to get up and take a stroll.... and so she decides to go out in the foggy night.
I loved the contrast that you used here...
The winds chill her to the marrow,
Though her heart continues to burn in sorrow,
The wind chill gets to the bones... yet it does not seize the burning fire in her heart.... amazing!!
She thinks over the mistakes which are rectified and yer some remain...She wants to escape from the emptiness surrounding her.... however as the sky starts clearing up, the same bone chilling wind soothes her pain.... and tells her...some pains are there to stay with you for life... some sorrows are immortal.
Awsome poem Kanky. Do write more. I love to read anything thats written with emotions.
