So, the night call is over and without even resting we are on to the next drama of this very dramatic school. While some connections were cleared, many of them still confuse the heck outta me.
Siyali's rationality is very scary. Or maybe it's because we are not used to having a 100% logical, rational, level headed girl like on our tv screens. While Utkarsh was in a complete panic mode and making tall claims of teaching the seniors a lesson if anything happened to Niti, Siyali had all her wits gathered with her and talked about the obvious of the situation. No, Niti couldn't have left the school because the gates were heavily guarded. No, the seniors weren't doing anything explicitly violent with them and were just following the school tradition. Just a game. Who the hell asked Niti to take it so seriously? I swear my expression in that moment was a perfect o.O because what Siyali said was right but the fact that Siyali said it had me really surprised. It's not like she wasn't worried about her friend, she was. It's just that she wasn't being all blind in friendship and was actually putting some blame on Niti as well. This is all Siyali's character, right? Knowing the boundaries and playing within them but never giving up the dream. Always under the authority, without a rebellious streak in her. But not a pushover or a coward. She's wonderful...
I was really eager to see how the scene between Sid and his mother would play out and I wasn't the least bit disappointed. I just love the way the mother-son relationships of this show are being handled. I mean, Urmila Rajput could've easily been written as a woman who only wants the best from her son without having any regards for his feelings. Thankfully, that is not the case. Rather, surprisingly that's not the case here. This woman loves his son but she isn't blind to his faults and mistakes. She wants him to improve and get better not just for her sake but for his own. Because Urmila is basically an outsider in the Rajput family. She's a daughter-in-law so that automatically put her in the spot under much scrutiny. Add being a widow and a mother to the only heir of the family, the pressure must be high on her. She could've easily cracked or pushed Sid to the brink of cracking. But the scene told something else. Yeah, she scolded Sid for his irresponsibility. She chided him for still not being at the spot where he is supposed to be. But that scolding came from the woman who has the sole responsibility to bring up the next Rajput to carry the family legacy. As a mother, her action was to kiss her son and hug him and tell him that she loves him and supports him. I seriously melted at that.
If I may assume, it is evident that Sid has a more close relationship with his mother than his grandmother. Because Urmila does act like his mother at any small chance she gets while Anvesha Rajput is a full time principal who is clearly against nepotism. Sid can talk to his mother and tell her that he tries his best but some things are just not in his control, but he can hardly raise his head to face his grandmother. This boy is coping with all kinds of pressure and I'm sure he has stuff suppressed inside him which will one day erupt. His distractions are his escapes but escapes aren't permanent...god, he reeks of being my ultimate fav.
It's hilarious how Siyali is completely beginning to take over his subconscious. Like he'll see her in the crowd at a distance and his eyes would immediately narrow down on her and he wouldn't even realize it 😆 Shippy moments aside, how are Ayaz and Sid "best friends"? They certainly don't look like friends, much less best friends. Sid seemed closer to Charlie. Ayaz and Sid are more like frenemies. Plus, Ayaz is his senior! Not saying senior-junior can't be friends or best friends but isn't it more common to have best friends in our immediate peer group? Gaaah! This school system confuses me! Though Sid knows Krissan from before because she's a close family friend as well as a classmate so that clears some stuff. I don't think Sid even knows what love is so him having a definition of love is something I found interesting. Would really love to know what that is :P Kriss is really growing on me. "Spare me the horror"...that's her reaction to having sex. Cool, popular, Queen Bee who is not after sex and physical pleasures? How often do you see that!
Utkarsh is a Rajput! That's news! That's why Ashwini posted a pic with Anshuman with the hashtag #fallenwarriors. I was surprised as to why would he pair these two guys up. Khair, Utkarsh is such a motor mouth. He never shuts up. He keeps mumbling to himself and not caring about others. And Parth is handing him his towel and this bromance is BEAUTIFUL!! Oooh! Charlie really didn't like Ayaz and gang making fun of Niti. I was worried that he might start a fight with Ayaz there and then but thankfully aisa kuch nahin hua. Although I am placing my bets on this happening in the future very soon. Charlie-Niti are becoming the first legit couple of the show and the road for them won't be easy.
Why is Siyali still in WH? Why is no one checking her identity? WHY???
I can't say much about Anvesha Rajput as a grandmother but she's a darn amazing head of the institute. She has that poise and authority but she doesn't repel students. It's clear that she has earned her respect. She was so gentle with Niti and was so proud of announcing that a junior had trumped over the seniors. There's a woman who knows she can do no wrong. The side glance at Urmila when Ayaz said that the winners were announced, that was full of sass.
And Niti was so dazed and confused when she was shaken awake. Of course she was full of happiness and pride as well when she walked in the assembly with full right and glory. Just the day before she was crying at her insignificance and now there she was, bringing the juniors the glory for the rest of the year and lighting the torch to pass on to all the students. I'm glad she got this victory. It was needed to boost her up. But that also put her on the target list as well.
Yup, no hi5s for Sid. Banda knew it himself xD
Freshers Party! Can't wait for that! It's gonna be a full blown extravagant affair and I hope the CVs treat it like that. Khali kholi Fab5 ki performance dikha ke tarkha na den because here, I don't care about the Fab5. I am more interested in the Warriors and I'd rather see the party from their POVs than some ex-students who are already history of the school, thank you very much.
