No worries, Ash. BTW, what would you have happen to Raj by the end of the show?

I am in no way saying what the girl was doing was correct. The point that I was trying to get across is that getting physical in a fight is a bad idea. Her clinging to him made try to shake her off. That inturn resulted in an accidental slap.

And I was just stating where the line gets crossed for me. For me even accidental slapping in not tolerated. I know my views are a bit extreme but more than the physical hurt the mental hurt and the humiliation is too unbearable to even think about.

I would want him in jail booked under the IPC for domestic violence. Along side his father and Jagan.

You're entitled to your opinion.
Like the idea of Raj, Harjeet and Jagan in jail. Cool.

I know it's not an appropriate comparison but aren't you the one who said that Harjeet shooting Simran was a reflex?
As far as I understand, reflexes are uncontrollable. You can't control them.
Kissing isn't a reflex.

True. I did say that. But that was in a different context. We were discussing about how Harjeet ended up killing his own heir when he shot Simmi. And how come he would protect Preet if she was pregnant? That's when I said him shooting Simmi was a reflex. Never said it was excusable. He would have never shot Simmi if someone had not first shot Raman. He thought Mannu shot Raman and for revenge he shot Simmi. That's what I was talking about

I don't really consider Harjeet a grown-up. His physical age might be about 45-47, mentally he is 12 year old kid. Both him and Jagan. They are kids. You stole my chocolate? So I will steal yours. You killed my clansman? I will ki yours. I doubt if they even remember why they became enemies in first place.

I just wanted to check what you thought of that reflex.
The same way PemaKarpo says abuse is subjective, I think all of the reflexes mentioned in that long comment of yours can't be compared to one another because of context.

Raj isn't mature either. To think that the guy who couldn't deal with one marriage was going on to enter another. What a fool.

If that's the case, why is nobody talking about the way Preet hit Raj after coming back from the Panchayat? Is that not domestic violence?
I agree that Raj has done a lot and deserves to be thrashed for other reasons.
But I am talking only about this one scene.
And the scene in the other serial was not even an intentional slap. It was a mistake. Like you stand in the Mumbai Metro and accidentally some guy touches you. You don't blame him for groping you!
One needs to understand the difference.

True! That's absolutely correct. Reflexes are also subjective to the context in which we are seeing them. I guess mine is the same context to all of the reflexes. That's my thing! I am extremely rigid when it comes to some things. And I am extremely touchy regarding some subjects.

No hard feelings I hope? I am really sorry if I have offended you or anyone else with my comments.
