Hypothetical questions are a headache, really.

I don't know where the limit is, honest. I like to know the reason before jumping into any conclusion.
But I don't approve of violence in any relationship. Not even where children are concerned. I am against corporal punishment.
All arguments need to be sorted out verbally within four walls.
That's a successful relationship.

They were arguing. He was trying to get away from her and she grabbed his arm. He yelled at her to let him go and kinda slapped her while trying to get her off him. Like he moved his arm and somehow gave her a backhand slap.

True. Unfortunately, some people just can't express themselves verbally and end up resorting to fists. I should know; my (kid) brother is like that. He is learning to control himself a bit more now. Thank God for that.

Yeah, that shows maturity. Children are like that, but when they grow up they ought to learn.
It's just that some people never really grow up.

I have to see the scene. But the way you describe it, it's almost of if there was a battle of attraction and anger and the sync fell out of place 😆

Swaragini 19th April 2016. It's towards the end of the episode. It was awkward.

Ok. The reason why I said I would like know the reason why someone slapped someone was because something similar happened to me as a kid.
My mother and i were playing and she started tickling me. I got out of breath and in order to escape from being further tickled, I slapped my mother.
That was obviously unintentional and more as a reflex action. And obviously after that I have never slapped her 😆
But if you were to randomly ask, if it's ok for someone to slap their mother, it would obviously be wrong 😆
I hope you get what I am trying to say!

Yeah, of course, you can't help it when it's a reflex.

I saw that scene. The ML's intention was not to slap the FL. It was a mistake. He himself was shocked and apologised for his actions.
I don't see any domestic violence in that.
The uproar that the family created after that was also quite unnecessary.
I read your comments somewhere that the FL should have been angry with the ML and not forgiven him.
Probably this is where we disagree.
This is where I feel that we women have become unnecessarily overreactive to anything that involves a physical blow.
I am sure this same thing would not have been such a big matter for discussion if the FL had slapped the ML by mistake.
We just want to cry wolf at the drop of a hat!

I actually wrote all that before I watched the scene. I only watched it today. From the written updates and what other people wrote, I kinda got the impression that he slapped her because he was angry with her.
So true about the role reversal, though. It's seemingly cute if a woman hits a man. It's not called abuse then.

Guys, can we discuss Raj Bajwa instead of slapping!!!! Lol... Though for most of us the words Raj Bajwa and slapping comes in the same sentence for the past few months...
