Thanks for putting this one up. All of the sudden Raj has turned into a nice person and is helping Preet. Cannot say say if this is some new plan or not. I don't think Raj will die (as he is one of the leads) but he definitely needs to be taught a lesson for all the trouble he has created for the last 3 and a half months. He will be there at the end of the show standing on a happy note with Preet. But for now, as I have have mentioned before, I will definitely kick his teeth of his throat. That will make him unable to speak for a few days and he will learn never to hurt anyone's feelings. Any other torture for him is welcome.

Actually yes. I won't mind if someone actually gives him a tight slap. Harjeet did that once. I want Amrit to do that and then Chander đŸ˜†

I know right. I'll tolerate him because he's obviously going to end up with Preet. But I don't think I'll ever like him again.

So true about the role reversal, though. It's seemingly cute if a woman hits a man. It's not called abuse then.

That would me, I guess. I was the one who brought it up.

I really don't know what to say. In the serial world, it was excusable, well at least according to you. I really don't know what to say. But you know we have seen psychos hit their wives and then heartily apologize. But that is besides the point. I just feel, as a grown-up, slapping as a reflex action is also kind of inexcusable. What is the guarantee that pushing someone will not be the next reflex? That someone might, in reflex, push off the stairs or someplace where you could seriously get hurt. Or the next reflex will be throwing something at someone and hurting them, but oh! That was unintentional. Oops!!!

Being grown-up is all about controlling the actions that are supposedly controlled by the reflex or rather the actions that are involuntary. You slapping your mom as a reflex was excusable Harsha as you were a kid. But as a grown-up girl, would you do that? Even if your mom tries to tickle you? No you wouldn't. Because you know that is wrong. You might snap at your mom, worst case. But never slap.

As kids, I am sure we ended up wetting our beds more than once. Peeing is almost a reflex action. Especially in sleep. Kids do that all the time. But as they grow kids are taught to control their urges as it's shameful. If we control our reflexes in sleep, then why not while we are fully awake? Like wetting your bed is a childish action and excusable only when we are kids, slapping is also a very kiddish reaction and should be excusable only for kids.

And if slapping is a reflex then, when overcome with lust, kissing someone is also a reflex and should be excusable. But that comes under molesting. If that is molesting then why is this not an assault?

And I DO NOT support women hitting men. Even out if reflex. Under some circumstances, yes I would justify slapping, kicking and hitting.

Initially I would watch the post leap episodes of Raj meeting Mannu and their fights and their helping each other. But even those scenes have lost their charm for me. You are right. We might tolerate Raj, but we will never like him.

@bold I'm not sure where you got that idea. I never said anything like that. In Sanskaar and Swara's case, the slap really was an accident. Him shrugging her off was a voluntary action but the slap was accidental. He shouldn't have pushed her but she shouldn't have been tugging him either.
I know it's not an appropriate comparison but aren't you the one who said that Harjeet shooting Simran was a reflex?
As far as I understand, reflexes are uncontrollable. You can't control them.
Kissing isn't a reflex.
