Handsome and sexist. Perfect description.
You can see how sexist the IF members themselves are when they put Priyanka down. She did pretty much the same thing as Anika (fell for someone who mistreated her and tried to kill a family member of hers) but she gets called a wh**e and s**t whereas Anika is just a girl in love who brought out the good side of her husband. All because Shivaay is the ML but Priyanka's husband is a side character. I'm so glad I don't visit that forum anymore. It's a pity that IB is at the top of the Chaska Meter chart. Just goes to show what audiences like. The scary thing is that those IF members are mostly young women from our generation. Gives me the shivers.

Lucky. The average age for marriage in our family for females is 23. The latest is 24 and that's only because studying took a little longer than expected. I'll only become fully qualified at 24 years old!
According to my parents, a girl past 23 doesn't get good proposals. This is coming from people who live in the UK...

But you know most girls of our age are okay with slightly abusive behavior. That is the reason they end up getting beaten up or taken advantage of by their boyfriends. You get so many cases where a girl is stuck in a MMS scandal. Many a times they give their consent for filming. And they end up getting betrayed. Many a times they are okay with a slap here and there. They feel it's normal. He may have lost his temper. Our daily soaps don't help either. Remember the scene where Sanskar had slapped Swara for misplacing a kangan gifted by him? Without knowing the reason he had acted. And Swara who always pouted gyan about women's rights and all did not protest at all. In fact she forgave the next instant. And even Sanskar did repent his behaviour.
What most girls fail to understand is that one slap may quite well turn into a full fledged assault one day.

Most people here also have similar opinion. Fortunately my parents don't subscribe to that thinking. And if anyone says that to me I have a solid example in front of my eyes. My cousin sister married at 28. And other one married at 30. They are happy. So it's all tosh. The only thing that matters is finding the right person.

BTW anyone who believes in arranged marriage?

Dating isn't allowed in my religion. So arranged marriage is the only way for us. Having said that, one of my cousins had a love marriage and ten years later, (actually may be a bit more than that) they're still happily married.

In ishqbaaz I think it was that Om got scared by the 'little sister' that Shivay got angry... Being frightened by any other girl is kind of okay but when it comes to your younger sister it becomes difficult to accept...

Yes she enjoys it a lot. And she actually loved this version of Preet. And when I told her what this serial was about and how the cvs ruined it. She didn't mind it at all. More over seeing raj all wicked torture preet (the after marriage episode ) she loved it saying preet is so nice and that girl's should be like her and she found raj hot. Him all tortureing preet being dominat and preet being so submissive (I was like the f?? This is domestic violence!!)

And I'm kind of ashamed to say it but. ...you know the raj touching preet thread , well i was reading that when we were discussing about it and my aunt found raj forcing preet to accept the relation after the MU is cleared ...ROMANTIC AND SEXY!!🤢

Delia my aunt is weird SAVE ME😭🤢

I guess I kind of get why your aunt thinks this way. For a lot of people, everything is justified in love and war. Raj "loves" Preet and she desires him too, so it's ok if Raj touches her inappropriately.

^Exactly. Your aunt wouldn't find it sexy if it was Chandar touching Preet. Still a bit scary though because it seems to promote the notion that 'no actually means yes because deep down, she really wants it'.

If I were to think so much about a soap, I think I would lose it 😆
But you are obviously right.
Sorry I am jumping right in without knowing head or tail. I am assuming you guys are talking about the episode during Gunjan's wedding when Aman's friends go drinking and Raj is desperate for Preet and he forces her to drink.
