Oh crap. What I meant was that there are no repercussions for the parents who raise their girls as boys in Afghanistan because it's a common custom there. In Waaris, Amba deceived everyone and would've been severely punished if Preet didn't stand up for her.

I really don't like where the Sakshi track is going. I feel worse every time I think about the fact that she'll be the main negative lead. That means we'll have to bear her forever! Mohini is already giving her masterclasses on how to get in between a man and his wife i.e. be a mistress. When Raj begs for Preet's forgiveness (he had better), this SD will do anything and everything to get in between them.

I just realised something and wanted to know what you guys think about this...

Umm why was Amrit sitting with Harjeet in the puja? Why not Mohini? I thought Amrit declining to share the room with Harjeet kind of meant that she does not believe in their marriage?! Why didn't Harjeet protest, according to him Mohini has more right on him, so why didn't he ask her to join him instead? Or was it because they are Raj's biological parents, and they are supposed to be there, because the puja is for him? Still doesn't make sense to me!!!

It's all Raj's doing. Amrit was going to go upstairs, probably to check on Preet, and then Raj begged Harjeet to ask Amrit to do the puja with him otherwise his plan would flop. Harjeet probably guessed that Raj did something evil to Preet so he agreed. He told Amrit to sit in the puja with him because it's for their son's long life or the wellbeing of their household/son/family something like that. Can't remember.

Sadly, Amrit still regards and will always regard Harjeet as her husband. She wears the sindoor, doesn't she? I think Bajwa bahus are very unfortunate. They're kind, good hearted women but their bloody husbands ill treat them and keep mistresses. Sad.

Sorry I don't know how to explain it. You know during manu engagement /marriage track and in some other episode she (amba) did say how simi betrayed her . Had an affair with raman got pregnant. And that she didn't even once thought about her mother and her family izaat &name or something like that. If people knew that now she is mentally unstable it might bring more shame to her (amba) and her family
