does anyone watch American soap?

I know we whine about Vivaah's pace but American soaps are worse. Sometimes they stay in the same room for a whole week, sometimes even 2 weeks. But the difference is they actually rotate and show many characters. Also they have drama!! Even when the story is predictable, it has nailbiting drama. I have seen my couples break over and over again, I have yelled and I am ashamed to say I have cried. But I have cried from happiness too. I remember like 4 or 5 years ago I was so addicted to it I would try to miss school so I can watch it. I have waited exactly 5...( no lie, you know I can count! I count before I say things) So I have waited exactly 5 years for a couple to be together. During the wait they still had sweet scenes that broke my heart. Just because you can't put a couple together right away doesn't mean you can't please the fans! I hate what they are doing to Taaj.

As I said before I don't really care what happens in Vivaah. Mr. Kohli can have a affair, Raghav can fall in love with Mansha, Sujata can break and go into a coma, or she can find a new guy, Rajdeep can turn out to be a psycho killer....whatever it is I just want good drama!! I just want it to have GREAT drama and entertainment. Yes I want Taaj together but only because when I look at them, they look like they were meant to be. If I didn't think that I would never want them together. But the rate they are going at I am sure I would lose all the excitement by the time taaj happens!

I was thinnking about posting a topic about it but then decided not to b/c i thought people might get mad that its not related to indiaforums s0oo0o0...

not tv dramas but actual soaps! like passions, days of our lives, all my children, bold and beautiful.

it comes on soapnet too

but the i use to watch days of our lives

and passion for a couple of weeks

i do watch passions from time to time.. and i know what you mean!

HOWEVER, the thing is, the reason i whine (and have stopped watching Vivaah) is because it started off so well! ever since the wedding, the creative team has forgotten to do something with the storyy.. not only is it slow, it's redundant! i dont want to keep seeing Rajdeep scaring trish.. and i dont want to see yuvi keeping tanya at arm's length! it's been well over 2 months since the wedding and the only two most exciting things i can come up with are: rajdeep's past and tanya's baby =///

passions used to kill me. I have been wanting theresa and ethan together since day 1 and it was so hard to see them separated when they are soulmates. They finally got their happy ending on the last episode

I used to hate 'Passions' but hardly missed an episode. Alas the show was cancelled on NBC and syndicated. Since then I was wondering what became of Teresa and Ethan. and Sheridan-Luise-Fancy triangle. And hope that Fancy has dissappeared and the Caine family lost all their wealth for some Wierd reason. And OMG how is my Tabitha?

Tabitha turned good. Her daughter was born a good witch and it seemed like tabitha was doing more good than bad so towards the end she officially turned good. Luis ended up with fancy and though they are not married she is pregnant. Which I think is soo gross. How can fancy be his love all of a sudden when for years it has been drilled into us that Sheridan and Luis are soulmates reincarnated over and over again!

Ofcourse kay and miguel are together. Another dissapointment. I wanted charity and miguel. Then Paloma and Noah were together. I think Noah is the only guy I liked. But yea Paloma is pregnant too. On the last episode Gwen and Rebecca went to jail and theresa and ethan got married.

Thank you Perfangel,

For updating me with the people of Harmony's lives. Fancy and Luis - not good. Somehow I never liked Teressa and her manipulations to get Ethan. Secretly I wished that Ethan would find some new love and Teressa would be left alone. I dont think there is any Passions forum for people who do not subscribe to the channel. Whenever I get somewhere they want us to fill in a petition to air it on NBC (which I religiously do).
