I totally agree! u hate how tanya's shown as a (gulp, for a lack of another word -> my excuse is that it's almost midnight, and I can't think of another) coward! I think it would have been better to portray her as someone stronger if she had to be the one who was raped. we should encourage children, especially young girls that they do NOT deserve such heinous acts, and if GOD forbid that DOES happen, they need to stand up to ensure that it doesn't happen with anyone else.
having said that, let me also say that Tanya was always shown as the introvert who never did any talking.. Her getting up one day after that traumatizing experience, and telling the whole world would have come off as comical! On top of that, rape victims seldom file a complaint due to the shame they feel.. most of them even feel like it's then who brought it onto themselves. and I'm sure Tanya feels the same way, as kaniyah always sought HER out.! as for disclosing it to her sisters, again, she never did come off as someone who likes to talk.. so it would have been hard to start off with.
-> I still think that we need to encourage what you suggested. it's high time women everywhere -> not just in India - started to realize that they have a self-worth that is not weighed by their man's actions!

Ok guyz many different views here.
I agree with all but to some extent 😆@ Swaroski : I dont think Tnay was shown up like a brave girl in the beginning. On teh contrary, Me Kohli and Manshaa made the remark at the beginning that Tanya is quite living in a cocon. She isnt that opened up. I agree she's an understanding person, but she couldnt disclose her tragedy withs omeone else, because of that understanding, as she felt that it'll ruined her other sisters life. But u are right, she should have at least shared it with her sisters and so punish Kahnaya.I fully agree on that, Directors should use Tanya's character to convey messages, because the message which we are getting is of a sis who can on teh one hand do anything for her sisters, but on teh other hand, someone who is really fragile and cant fight for the truth. 😕@ Prachi_Shah : Well said in a way her sisters are at stake, because they couldnt understand her and her pain. Tanya didnt needed to diclose teh Truth, HER sisters should have known that something was going wrong.@ zainabay : I dont think so, she went whenever he called her because she was scared. She didnt have the guts to tell him no, neither to tell it to anyone. But i agree that now she can at least tell it to police, but yet again she fears that it can affect her sister's image and honour@ xxangelxx : same, i dont think it's Tanya's fault.@ nidmister110 : Well said sweety, she did this for her family 👏 and yes they both should have told it to all, but no one is ready to listen to them. 😕@ Sonia : U are right, well said, it wasnt Tanya's fault and she could have confide it to hers is, but her sis could have understood her too. So i guess its not her fault. 😉Sorry if u guyz dont agree with me 😳Humera.

So its not her fault but also her sisters' fault... because they claim to know each other than if they know how both Trisha and Tanya are than why aren't they trying to understand Tanya too....
Maybe its me or something but if something like that would have happened to me I would also loose faith in myself but at the same time I would have my sisters' support because I don't have to explain the anything in-fact they know me pretty well that they understand me too.
A reply to Prachi's above statement:-
Exactly, what I mean by saying that Tanya has very understanding sister is that if she speaks the truth then they will not refute🤗! They know that their sweet sister Tanya is a shy and timid natured and will certainly accept that she is a victim of catastrophe...this is only if she says something......Alas! she will never speak.
