Is consummation the reason for Apu's father's death? I thought Nilanjana's paralysis was part of the reason. The legend that Kalpana told Apu was that their first borns are always daughters, who are vishkanyas. So vishkanyas can have more kids, and consummation doesn't necessarily lead to death.

So Apu & Malloy, if they marry, can have >1 child. Just that the first would be another vishkanya

Still I don't believe kalpanaz theory,i think she only made appu more poisonous for her motive,according to her theory appu mom is less poisonous then how can appu be so dangerous

I agree! Appu's mom had very little poison left. My understanding was that her husband died due to repeated exposure to the poison - not a single shot. After all they were married for few months (before Kalpana married Harsh) before he died. Plus Nilanjanaa was treated at a regular hospital after she was injured. - so she must have been relatively normal. If she was real VK, why couldn't she self-heal from the accident injuries, like appu can?

I am sure there is more to Kalpana's story. Kalpana made appu a lot more poisonous, may be all the special diet they showed in the beginning of the show.
