Vedant and Sandhya's haldi ceremony is going on. Everyone is cheerful and jovial. Sushant is teasing Vedant by taping him with turmeric all over him, but Vedant shoots back saying he will do the same with him when he gets married. Sushant says, he and Vasudha are thinking of a court marriage. Vasu smiles wistfully. Just then Vikram comes in like a true KMH😡; Vedika taunts him for coming without invitation but he says Vasu has invited him. Sushant says, even the cock is under the misconception that dawn comes when he crows.
Vikram is taunting Vedika about his "love" for Vasudha when Sushant intervenes, asking him not to drag Vasu into the problems between him and Vedika. VIkram challenges his blind faith in Vasu, saying that the heart can start to fancy anyone, at any time. Sushant asks him how he would feel if his wife, sister or daughter said the same to him. Vikram bristles. Sush tells him that it hurts, and that Vasu and his love was, is and will remain constant, for the next 7 janams. 👏👏👏
Vikram runs into Vasu and tells her that she must shatter Sushant's faith in her. She says she will tell him when the time comes. He warns her that if she doesn't, he will show the CD to Sush who being devoted to the truth, will bring Shreya to justice. VAsu pleads with him for time; he tells her she must tell Sush that very day.
Shreya and Naina are decorating the bridal bed. A person from the hospital comes with Sandhya's reports; one of the servants receives it and places it next to their bed. Sandhya is being decked up as a bride. Vasu fastens one of her "kalirs" reminding her of the responsibilities of a bride. Then it is Vedika's turn. She does it saying she can't give a sermon like Vasu. Then nani says something about the new bride clapping her kalirs over any unmarried girl's head; that girl will get married soon. Vasu whispers to her to do it for Vedika. When Sandhya does so, Ved says it's very sweet of her, but she isn't going to get married now, thanks to the good offices of someone (looking straight at Vasu). Vasu says she's sure Vedika is going to get married next.
The wedding is in progress. Vasu is teasing the lovestruck Vedant. Sush whispers to her that he is in pretty much the same state. 😳Vikram interrupts saying Vasu is looking very beautiful. Vasu excuses herself, asking Sush to come with her. Inside the study, Sush is gung-ho that she called him for a cosy tete-a-tete. But when he tries to touch her, she pulls away. He looks at her with dismay dawning in his eyes. She tells him she has to tell him something about her, him and Vikram; Vikram loves her. Sush tells her to speak for herself. Avoiding his eyes, she says that she loves Vikram.
Outside, Vedant and Sandhya are united in sacred matrimony. Inside, two hearts are breaking.
Sushant's face is drawn with hurt and disappointment. He asks her to tell the bitter truth face-to-face. He roughly grabs her shoulders and turns her round to face him, demanding that she say it while looking into his eyes. She looks down tearfully. Brutally holding her face, he snarls at her to speak. She screams that yes, she loves Vikram. He stares at her. Then he slaps her and walks out of the room. Vasu is left crying broken-heartedly.😭😭😭
