Thanx for the article. it is indeed the best show on television today. It has the best starcast and the best story on television. I think sony should use all its marketing skills to publicise the show. it should not leave any stone unturned.I just hope that it does't axe it abruptly forthe wont of trps .
I think the strength of the show lies in its story, its treatment, the character scatches and very importantly some very good acting by the cast.Even though the main protagonist here too is a female like all other tv shows but males to are assertive. They r not depicted just as a props as in most of the other tv seriels.
Best is sushant singh. I hope i will find support if i say sushant is going to be the latest craze among girls. He may not be the typical hunk but his lover boy act is definitely going to won him big fan following. i feel he has been the soul of the show till now and hope it continues to be so.
vikram gokhle is apt in the role of ruthlss father and he looks every bit of heartless and shrewed DRS. achint is surprise. i always liked her but in this show she is fantastic.She has got one of the strongest roles in the show and she is doing justice to it.vedika can never have been played so well by any othe acter.
It is refreshing to see Apra mehta in a deglamorised role sans her bindis and heavy jwellery and colorful sarees.but initially it took a while to digest her new avtar.seems like she is going to be smiti's permanent onscreen saas.
Govind namdev is adequate.Though we have seen him a lot playing crrupt politician but we r not complaining because these are his kind of roles and every one likes to see him this way.Anjan shrivastava looks good as hassled editor though i would like to see more of him on the show because he brings with him certain kind of philosophical humur with him.Ashwini too is nice, but again this is one character which needs to be developed.
chetan's character is developing slowly and i believe he is going to be one villain whom every one will love to hate.dhairya- rudraksh's bro has had only one cene till now but so can't say much except that they both anand and chetan do look like siblings. Mohan Bhandari is ok may be i'll be able to comment on him after watheing few more episodes.
vedant N Shreya i.e. karan N Mihika as the kids of the family are wonderful especially karan's vedant act.he lands autheticity to brother sister relationship. his chemistry with his on screen sisters is perfect. theeir relationships are the kind of one's whis actully exist in real life.bhaarti as bua is fun to watch.she is hilarius and her relationship with her brother too is amzing. i guess she is the only one who can say any thing to DRS and is not much affected by his aura. The way she says dhiru bhaiya is funny.nani - i don't know the name of actor is also fine. toghether with bua, vedant and shreya she gives homely feel to raisinghania house.
And finally the heroine of the show Smriti,i think she is not as great an actor as some of the the people in her cast are butshe is doing a fine job.it took a while to digest a young and bold smriti romancing someone, when for past so many years we were used to her sati savitri,pious then thou,mother and granni acts! My only grudge on the show is that she looks pretty overweight for the role. initially it was difficult to see her with sushant in the same frame.never the less she is doing a fine job.
so over all i'll give this show ****1/2 stars out of five.
