yes i too agree wid vrinda cuz in most of the sites or books its mentioned as 8 wives but still u cant b 100%sure cuz anything cud have happened.apart from dat there is even confusion abt the names of his wives like somwhere it is mentioned manjulabai while sumwhere laxmibai.some books mention shivaji having 3 daughter while sum mention him having 6.so there are a lot of things under confusion and historians keep having futile debates.wish i had sum device to go to the past and clarify all y doubts!!!
