Show Started On March 11th

Finally a thread. I must have visited this forum 20 times to look if any activity.

I guess I am the ONLY one who is GENUINELY interested in watching this. Everyone else is just casually chatting.

Well I have many reasons to watch this. More than SMR tbh.

Let's hope more people join this and it becomes more active.

For once I am liking how Bali agressive/Asuric tendencies are being shown.

Also if I am not wrong RikshaRaj actor also played Bali in some show I am sure.

Everytime I see kesari

I see shades of bhishma and dashrath

I can't see him as kesari

In promo where Hanuman is born

His expression came same as when ramji was born

I will chk the crown again

Glad to find someone interested. If I may ask, could you share the reasons you picked up this show?

Initially I didn't want to watch this show but I thought I could check it out and I am impressed. The presentation, colour palette, animations, editing and videos angles are awesome so far.

I guess I shall watch the show till it irreparably irritates me.

I am not a big fan of how villains are portrayed as deranged all the time. In Vali's case, what pushed him over the edge was the supposed betrayal of his own brother. Until then he was a good leader although he did have some shortcomings. The one acting as Vali was phenomenal, showing that clear contrast between Vali and Sugreeva, here as per the story. Portraying Vali this deranged seems overkill but the actor is too good. I felt that the hairstyle in this dream suited him better than the dreadlocks/fossilised hair.

It was great to see Riskhraj and Jambavan, the scenes with them were awesome, especially the one with these two and Vali - it was awesome to watch. I am glad Jambavan gets more of a role. And yes, the one who plays Riskhraj had played a vanara before but I am not sure where. I have seen him in many mytho shows.

I am not too convinced with Jatayu's characterisation here, although the actor did a good job. The character insert of Jatayu in Kishkinda seems a bit of.

I loved Anjana - Kesari scenes... and also Vayu Dev' appearance. Beautifully done.

Yes, Vali's intro scene gave me.Adipurush vibes too but I liked Jambavan and Vali's scene. That was good.

Reason No 1 : Bajrang Bali. Always a big devotee. Like every year we do 2 pooja of Bajrang Bali on Ramnavmi and Vijayadashmi. Then a flag hoisting in done. We have a akhada dedicated to Bajrang Bali in our home. Not used that much now. Also my city has one of the biggest hanuman mandir in India. Been there many times. Hanamun chalisa is like always with me. Like it involuntarily comes out. I watched Waah life ho to Aisi movie just because it had a 10 min long Hanuman chalisa scene.

Reason no 2. Music. I know Swastik is known for distortion in story but thier way of presentation is good. And music has no. match.

Reason no 3. Always watch our religious shows if I have time.

Reason no 4. Actress Playing Anjana. I have watched previous shows of her and she is good actress.

And you mentioned Vali actor. Mahir is a brilliant actor. He was the villain in Swastik previous show which they claimed to be inspired from MB but lost track as usual.

I didn't miss watching Ramayan. But yes missed discussing on forum.

My thought process is I don't get irritated by the distortions.
