This show Jyoti was kind of good but most of us watched because NDTV imagine was a new fav channel, so most programs were popular. Also the 2nd actress (Sriti Jha) was from Bihar so another reason for watching.

He was good initially. Blind but very rich. The couple was good. But he did a abhimanyu of yrkkh, divorced a pregnant wife and never accepted that the child was his.

And kind of become a grey and frustrated character. Meanwhile Jyoti finds another Co worker and settles with him. Then in his last episode turns saviour for the lead couple. Took the gun from the killer saying i will shoot the hero myself. But soon turns saviour and allows the lead couple to escape and dies a good guy.

This I remember from memory.

Also have to mention Sriti here. She played a girl like Aparichit (Anniyan). Multiple personality disorder where the first personality was extremely meek ans introvert and scared girl. The 2nd personality was a party animal extrovert rebel.

Lol. Basically saying that Sarwar is very very versatile and change the demeanor and mood of scene in an instant. Both the times his turn was shocking based on the story at that point.

I have seen him in Jyothi (Not whole show, little bit I watched Jyoti mainly for Sriti) and in KP HE is damnn versatile

I still remember him with the shawl around and walking with the stick, he was terrific even as a blind man

Ohh he is a damn good actor....

His every character is an example of his versatility....Eveyone talked about how his character switches from positive/neutral to negetive/ psycho or grey.There is a pattern in his characters & he explores navraas through his performance.

But see the thing is unfortunately here hero/heroines are more famous, & Katha being a recent show, Aditi's popularity is high....so comparison toh hona hi hai...

& mostly Mahir's fans are not liking him probably bcz of their attachment & they think now Mahir would be sidelined.. which is a fair fear if we look at the makers previous records

It was bound to decrese.As they say best revenge is massive success..Only way Sarwar could silence them was through a solid performance & he is doing that...

I only saw one YT comment in yesterday's precap video where a person commented "toxic characters like Kabir is not needed in the show"

Kabir is not toxic at all , tbat commentor has lost it

Kabir came at the right time...when the show was desperately looking for a hope to survive..

Agar Kabir nahin ata toh sabhi Prem Puran & YUVIKA Puran milkar padh rahe hote...
