"Aap hamari beti ka parichay hamse kara rahe hai"???? I am confused with this line. is line ka arth (meaning) kya hua?

Rathore was trying to explain to Tapasya's father "well tapasya is strong-willed, and she is like this and like that"...
so Thakur said "are you trying to describe my own daughter to me?"
He meant that he has known tapasya for several years longer than mr. rathore has, so there was no need for rathore to give him a description of his daughter's attributes.
