GEC Watch: Top two channels' share declines

Uttaran is the most watched programme on Hindi GECs in the latest week, too.

Both STAR Plus and Colors have seen drops in channel shares in Week 35. STAR Plus is at No. 1 with a relative share of 23.6 per cent, while Colors, at No. 2, has garnered a relative share of 20.7 per cent. The GRPs garnered by the two are 331 and 290 respectively.

Zee follows at No. 3 with a share of 17 per cent; it has garnered 235 GRPs. Sony's share has declined from 14 per cent to 13 per cent in Week 35. The channel has recorded 183 GRPs.

SAB's share, too, has declined from 8.3 per cent to 7.4 per cent in the latest week. Imagine TV has almost maintained its relative share of 5.8 per cent, followed by DD1, which has garnered a share of 5.3 per cent.

STAR One's share remains at 3.5 per cent, followed by Sahara One and STAR Utsav, which have garnered shares of 2 per cent and 1.5 per cent respectively.

Uttaran continues to be the most watched property on Hindi GECs. It has fetched a TVR of 8.1 in Week 35. Na Aana Is Des Laado has recorded a TVR of 6 and is the second most watched programme on Hindi GECs, followed by Pavitra Rishta and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which have both managed to garner 5.6 TVR.

Pratigya is at No. 5 and has garnered a TVR of 5.5. The other shows in the Top 10 list include Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Balika Vadhu, Tere Liye, Bidayi and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.
