@regalla no doubt ur post is gud & reasons 4 iccha's dumbness👏👏.i agree being gud & nice human being she overluked certain relations.
though iccha shudn't blame veer as she knew him atleast enough abt his concern 4 vansh but she was acting on circumstancial evidence as shes full of grief now. i think once she think all abt it she"lldefntly try 2 help veer2 ( if CV's r dis wise enough).
1. ammu 4 her shes not a failure as she never lied 2 her except abt vansh's irrational behaviour even wen she sent devil in place of her 2 marry veer.and whereas ammu is concerned she herself wanted 2 live there 4 da sake of thakurs & imagine yaar in dis old age she can't work heavily dat 2 outside haveli.
though u r rite abt her initial enthu 4 changing her "kismat" but she'd changed 2 da extent dat shes better than taps.
2.taps as frnd shes not failure though she hide taps mistakes but i agree wid sum1's post dat she was pushed 2 da corner by devil & her gudness has bcum obstacle in her own happiness.and even we've lied sumtimes 2 protect our frnds even we know it may harm dem in long term as we r scared abt da momentry punishment given 2 dem by parents.
in childhood taps begged 4 money wid iccha 2 help poor & u r rite dat even we ppl won't allow it but at dat time she was so young dta she cudn't understand wat it means. rem wen once she brought 1 used dress of taps given 2 her by either taps or sum1 else ammu told her not 2 take. so at dat time she was not at fault.
3.veer i always maintained dat she has done v.wrong by letting devil marrying him through deceit. she has treated him not nicely den 1st she wanted devil happy as she was thinking she luved veer truly.
but yes i don't like dis thing on iccha's part. if she didn't want 2 marry veer whether 4 taps happiness or not but shedn't any rite 2 tag da devil wid veer.as it was his life & his decision 2 marry or not 2 da devil.
and after her marriage 2 vansh she ignored him bcoz of da delicate relation btn vansh & her. she wanted 2 start new life so ignored him but she knew & felt his pain 2 as its clear from dat mask party convo wid vansh wen she thought vansh as veer & told abt his difficulties bcoz of her.
4 vansh no doubt as u've said dat she shudn't'd stopped his treatment & ignored veer's warning.but rem veer & family members demselves stopped it thinking marriage wid iccha"ll cure him as its da common perception of our society.
though she shud told all atrocities & irrational bhavr 2 family but 1st she didn't want 2 oders 2 take tension bcoz of her & if she'd told any1 abt it den taps mite'd taunted her abt not having gud husband & even tried 2 instigate vansh more.
4 bundelas atleast they r demselves responsible 4 dis situation & 4 their dis condition atleast shes not responsible. they were more than happy 2 get taps as D-I-L.
but i agreed on dis part dat she shud've used a little bit of common sense in veer's case & dat she was a doormat 2 taps. just bcoz dat she wanted taps happiness & being a gud human being she overluked certain things. so she may b a failure in certain situations but not a total failure.
and last thing is as rightly put by anu dat iccha is an extreme on side of gudness so ppl shudn't b 2 gud as it sumtimes make u failure in certain conditions & situations. but still i prefer iccha over taps the devil.
