BTW why do we try to defend a person ... she is placed as the vamp of the serial and her evilness justifies her role and act. She WAS NOMINATED as Best Actress - NEGATIVE ROLE for ITA. So the creative team and she herself knows that she is playing the vamp role and not the lead good role. If we try and justify, then everyone has their own logic of not being guilty ....

However - going by Tej's reaction for Tapasya (ab to yeh Haveli chodke jane ka man nahi hein) on understanding Dulhai under se kuch aur .. .Bahar se kuch aur ... and we have seen his Dan haath ki khujli .... so net net ... we can assume that he would definitely take some advantage of Tapasya .... and blackmailing her is the easiest ... and when she is desperate .. she can do anything ....

and Tapasya DID wore Ichcha's Sangeet Dress .. Gunwanti did not recognized .. but we viewers all did na .... it;s like no-one recognized during Shaadi that It's Tappu based on height difference ...

I'm not sure whether Tej is Veer's father or not. Most likely not as Veer and Umaid has some similar characteristics ... Maybe Tej is Daddaji's illegal child and then he would either team up/ utilize Tapasya by making her buddu or would blackmail her for SID ... That's Tej's main role here ... Well my guess :O)
