Yes she's really stupid. Ever since Aliya was introduced, she has always shown as impulsive. She rushes into things and puts both herself and Armaan in trouble. But this time, her stupidity has harmed someone badly. Even small kids know that easiest way to spoil food is to add extra salt and spices. Aliya's problem is, she doesn't care about anyone other than herself. As long as she's not in trouble, she doesn't bother to think about the effect her actions can have on others. She wants to run away to Canada.. who cares if her father and family will be heartbroken. She wanted to use Aasmaa to get to Canada.. who cares if Aasmaa's life will be spoiled. This attitude is what makes her more problematic.

On a side note, although Harleen is not Alia's biological mother, she is by nature her actual mother. Aasma should have been Nehmat's daughter. I wonder how Harleen's gene kicked in Alia's ...murderous gene will kick in the moment Armaan leave her for Aasma.

Because upbringing matters more than blood. Nehmat was a criminal's daughter. But she has Tejo's values. Aasmaa is criminal Jasmine and Harleen's blood. But she was brought up by Deepak. Aliya is Nehmat's daughter. However, for 6 years she was with Harleen and even Jasmine was around. After that, Harleen continued to brainwash her while dumb Nekham didn't even bother to tell her the complete truth. No wonder she behaves like Harleen and Jasmine than her own parents.

I wonder if the current Indo-Canadian standoff (India today stopped visas for Canadian citizens ) will make the writers change Udaariyaan's storyline

Yeah nurturing environment has a decisive role to play. Ekam has spoiled Alia out of love to the point that she has become selfish and Harleen played a big part in reforming her into who she is today. On the other hand, Aasma is close to Deepak who brought her up with good values and mores. I stated it out of sarcasm

I got that. Just put it out here because saw many commenting about Nehmat's daughter turning out like this.

Good to see Aasmaa's family supporting her. I was half expecting them to blame her too. Sukhi is definitely going to find out Aliya is behind all this. And expose her in front of Armaan. She's going to be in lot of trouble. No way Sukhi is going to let this go easily.

The episodes mainly Aliya are very difficult to watch. My goodness, she’s insane and a very toxic person. Wonder what Armaan and Aliya saw in each other.

Aliya is older than Aasma but behaves like an absolute mo*on!! No brain!!

Is she really in love with Armaan? I sometimes feel not love. There is no trust.

Armaan actually loves her despite her being a really crappy person!!
