Aasmaa and Armaan are likable when they get proper scenes. Their bickerings are cute. Unlike Fatejo who were friends already, these two bicker just like two kids. Like the way Armaan always ends up helping Aasmaa though.

Aliya is just evil. If she just wanted to ruin Aasmaa's cooking, why not just add some extra salt and spices. Who adds detergent to the food, knowing people are going to have it. Looks like Armaan will first lash out at Aasmaa and then finds out the truth. He will start distancing from Aliya and develop a soft corner for Aasmaa. Aliya is ruining all her chances by herself just like Harleen.

When he comes to know about the truth, he will hate her for sure. They have made Nehmat's daughter too negative that I don't have words to express. I also think this will too happen and in end Armaan will realize he has fallen for Aasma and the end. It is time for me officially drop the serial lol. I expected she would be negative but she is too toxic for me to even like the character.

It is merely my prediction of what will happen at the end.

Plus, Aliya's character will only get worse because she is the show's negative lead ( same thing happened to Jasmine, Naaz, and Harleen. Now it is Aliya's turn)

The butchering of Harleen's character was uncalled for. Nehmat just gets on my nerves.

She is already ready to kill - even Jasmine, Naaz and Harleen tried "gentler" methods to get rid of their competition.

Next - she will hire a professional killer!!! smiley37

More than anything - She has zero trust in Armaan. Yeh kaisa pyar hai?

TRP sucks right now. Will not be surprised if they are kicked out soon but totally love the pace!!! The show is more fun this way.

I think makers did this on purpose. They don't want 2 sets of shippers. They lost last time with the fanbase divided between ekleen and nekham.

Aliya's character was like this from day 1. She beat up the lady at the dance trope in the introductory episode. At that time it appeared to be more like childishness and possessiveness.

I thought she "will grow" out of it because FL's daughter can't be negative. Don't think that is happening anytime soon.

Exactly. They do not want to take a risk of having two strong shippers. Intially, Almaan had a strong fanbase and with this development it will gradually drop. There are still some Almaan shippers. Once they make her a super villain they will also move on from Almaan.

I also noticed the behaviour of Alia. From day 1, her actions were reckless and rebellious. She thinks she can get what she wants. Alish also mentioned it in an interview prior to the beginning of leap. I overlooked all the behaviour because I thought she would grow up ,as you mentioned, because she is FL's daughter. It is kind of an iron rule in ITV universe that FL's daughters are, generally, saint (or at least one of them). So I had a tiny hope that she wouldn't go this far. But that was wishful thinking of mine.

On a side note, although Harleen is not Alia's biological mother, she is by nature her actual mother. Aasma should have been Nehmat's daughter. I wonder how Harleen's gene kicked in Alia's smiley37...murderous gene will kick in the moment Armaan leave her for Aasma.

Normally, she should become positive. After all, Harleen decieved her. It is like the biggest betrayal for her. However, since Aasma is the lead, Aliya will become more negative to outshine Aasmaan, bland couple. I wish a new male protagonist appears for Alia. She will be forever single at this rate smiley36.

@ green: IMO Aliya is impulsive and dumb, and it's likely that she doesn't know how to cook. Because of this, she chose to add detergent to the food rather than more salt or other spices.
