once makers start showing his redemption, fateh crying and hurt, how many will stick to tejo being with someone else? that is the question. that is what i meant with public also being somewhat a pendulum and forgetting what was actually shown.
most viewers will remember that fateh cheated, but they will forget some of the scenes and the pain tejo went through, cause thats how viewer memory is.
majority viewers are not as involved as any of us here. they will forget and move on. also, many will relate this to real life and most people come across situations, ro couples where one forgave the other for a serious transgression and now they are happy. so thats how viewers will take this
I got your point in your last comment, Shruti. And you are quite right on the fact that people have a selective memory. But then, what I have observed that trp viewers, especially aunties are very progressive now insofar as most of them want Tejo's solo journey away from Fateh and Jasmine. Loha abhi garam hai, so makers are striking the iron by making KVG's entry. The rest will depend on Trp which I predict is going to rise as his character is going to be a breadth of fresh air and many old viewers who left the show are going to be hooked now. Besides, KVG has his own fan following (he is quite popular among trp aunties for his zeetv show with Suhasi Dhami).😊
Also, What Fateh has done so far for Tejo has been out of gratitude and not love. I don't know how the story will proceed from here but for me Fateh and Tejo can be soulmates as well as the epitome of friendship but not husband and wife. 😊
