So Fateh tells his mom ki he has a friend and he wants to divorce his wife and his family is supporting him.. uspe Gurpreet says divorce is not acceptable in our family... Marriage is a pure bond etc...

But looking at Fateh's expression she understands ki probably Fateh is talking about himself... And asks him if he thinking on these lines... So he says no no... Everything is alright between me and Tejo

And the very next scene he is shown contemplating that I cannot lie to Tejo anymore, need to tell her the truth
