Lol same. And I got hooked because of fatejo. Saw a scene and found them adorable.

But whenever Fateh pisses me off, I stan jasfa and tejo with a hot, intelligent, understanding man named Ryan.

Which sane sister in the world would marry her sister's lover?

I know and understand what is the serial's POV but marrying your sister's lover no matter what the situation cannot be justified.

The maker's have turned Jasmine into an insane person who doesn't care about any one but before this yes she was selfish or childish but she did care about her sister.

They have made her completely insane so that there is no sympathy for her because otherwise marrying your sister's lover can't be justified no matter what the reason.

I think makers have taken an easy route by making Jasmine completely insane and uncaring. They should have maintained some positivity in all 3 main leads to make things interesting. Imlie the SP show has shown that all 3 leads can be positive and flawed at the same time and stil the serial can do wonder in TRP. One only needs good writing for that.

@bold- Exactly, that takes a lot of effort and actual writing skills. I don't think Colors will give makers a chance to experiment and actually show something different.

But Jasmine was always an unlikable character, at least for me. She was shown too immature and too obsessed, without any actual essence. And this marrying sister's lover is a common ITV trope. Don't know how much of it reflects actual reality.

I mean there are people who actually hate the main couple because the 3rd leed's character is written so well. With flaws and postivity. They have actually taken the risk of making the main couple unlikable or else they could have also taken an easy route by making the 3rd lead completely negative. This serial would have been much better had they shown pain,POV and positivity of all 3 rather than making one completely negative. Marrying sister's lover is normal in ITV but here its been justified by making the sister completely negative. Had they shown even slight positivity in Jasmine's character then a lot more people would have been against Tejo's move of marrying her sister's lover. We were talking about extra marital affair here which is wrong as right now commitment is between Tejo and Fateh if not love. But at that time commitment and love was between Fateh and Jasmine coming in between that was also equally wrong. Like i said they should have shown right and wrong in all characters. But here they have decided to put all the blame on one character. which is bad and lazy writing.

I agree with you except that Tejo didn't come in between Feteh and Jasmine. It was Jasmine who burned down everything between her and Fateh when she insulted him in front of everyone and refused to get married. But I do agree that making Jasmine completely negative was a easy way out by the makers. Even after Fatejo marriage, Jasmine did show some concern for Tejo and people did appreciate it. But then she was turned into a typical ITV vamp suddenly by making her completely insensitive to her own sister's pain. This could have been avoided if the makers invested some time in character development and good writing, instead of blindly following the usual tried and tested path.
