29th June - Antics, One Step Forward and "Tejo"

29th June Episode Short Update

Antics

1. Jasmine convinces her Uncle that she said all that bs because she saw a nightmare. Uncle calls Tejo, Fateh brings her phone in the kitchen. While talking to her uncle, Tejo and Fateh have a cute conversation which Jasmine overhears. Jasmine asks Uncle to ask why Fateh's phone is switched off, Mami gets annoyed and take the phone from Uncle.

2. Mahi enters the kitchen and informs Tejo that they will accompany Khusbheer, they won't be able to attend her mom's birthday. MIL tells Tejo that Mahi is lying, she doesn't want any of her family members to go at her place.

3. Jasmine was being really mean, Mami couldn't tolerate her bs and she slaps her. *I'm not in favour of slaps even though Jasmine was being really unbearable* Mami informs Jasmine's father of her behaviour who scolds her.

4. Gippy comes to take Jasmine. She tries to convince him to meet her parents as it's her mom's birthday. Gippy lies when Mami asks what's going on.

*Both are bipolar lol. Gippy does seem funny one minute and the next he seems shady. 🤪 Jasmine wonders why he doesn't immediately agree to what she says - Gippy wasn't really convinced of the idea of meeting the parents so soon.*

5. Tejo, Khusbeer and Fateh's grandfather have a conversation in the garden. Khusbheer mentions about his sport academy.

One Step Forward *together* 🥳

5. Tejo tells Fateh that it's not necessary he comes with her at her parents, she knows it won't be easy for him. Fateh says since they left together, they'll go together. *Insert chivalry* He opens the door for her and take her hand, they enter smiling, arms linked, Tejo smiling and holding a bouquet.

6. All the family members are happy. Fateh also seems relaxed and asks Tejo's mom to make tea like Tejo does. They play games and Tejo rightly guesses the movie's name as "Chameli ki shaadi". Tejo and Fateh are so cute

7. Tejo goes outside to make a call, the cake that was ordered hadn't arrived yet. Fateh tells her to go inside and be with her family. Tejo insists that she will make the call and Fateh stops her by calling her name - Tejo.

She is surprised.

^ I got used to Tejo Ji. I even liked it 😆

Jasmine is getting annoying when she doesn't show respect to others. I still find Gippy shady. Fateh is trying really hard even though he is still broken.

I sometimes think Tejo likes to keep herself busy when she focuses on Fateh and how to prevent him from further hurting himself.

Analysts of the forum, they are still friends right? I find them sharing a good comfort level right now.

I like Fateh calling Tejo ji .Umm am not so impressed with this Tejo twist .

They are still friends . I still don't get any romantic vibes . Seems writer wants to make it late .

Though Chameli coming back with Gippy is good sign. It will corner Fateh even more and that's how romantic Fatejo will start. Till then am happy with friendly Fatejo.

Yeah I kinda liked when Fateh voiced 'Tejo ji'. It has this refreshing old school romance vibes to it. I wish the creators keep it that way...

Even I like the Tejo ji. It has a nice ring and I don't know I just like how he says aap and how he says her name 😆

So finally it has begun.

Jasmine used her sister today to know About Fateh. I was dreading this and this instead became true. She knows the taboo nature of her relationship with Fateh which is why she gave Tejo as an excuse to make Mama call her and enquire about Fateh😓

I am just happy that she burned hearing Fatejo banter. Fateh is so cute trying to steal the food straight from the cooking pan 😂 ....and Tejo threatening him if he sleeps like Kumbhakaran again😂

Skipping all of Gurpreet and Gippy and bakwas Jasmine. Thank God. I used to hate wiring about them when I used to give updates. Irritating as hell to write about bakwas characters 😂😂

Now coming to Fatejo.

He was being uber cute running after Tejo. I am glad he stayed instead of going away. They entered together and the parallel was beautiful.

The way Fateh was teasing Tejo about forgetting teh gift in the car was hilarious. I loved him patking Dilraz when the little kid was trying to take Tejo away. I enjoyed how he remarked that Dilraz always keeps taking Tejo away. This means that despite being in the Jasmine halo last time, he did notice it.

I am glad Fateh got to have some fun moments. His Jije-saale moment with Abhiraj was good. Fateh deserves some light moments. His house is unfortunately full of NimPreet and Amrik bakwas.

The last scene was powerful. The way he called her name felt like he was finally and for the first time exerting his right as a husband on her. Let's face it Tejo has always bossed him around even when they argued. He might snap at her and yell but she used to give him back; didn't even let him eat in peace for two days 😂

He had always remained somewhat on an unequal plane with her. May be I felt so, because his 'Tejo Ji' had a deference because of her being Jasmine's older sister. But today, he called her with full haq.

Maybe he will go back to calling her Tejo Ji but now it won't feel unequal. And when he wants to make his bossy wife listen, he will rumble out, "Tejo" and she will stop short, awestruck.

Btw....aaj kuch jyada hi Tejo ke piche para tha Fateh. I am worried a bit. May be because we are getting such good bonding scenes. The way he praised her food, asking for the tea she makes in The Sandhu's place, Abhiraj's teasings, Fateh always running after Tejo when she goes from one place to another - I had the feeling that he had started to orbit around her.

He is using her to move on not as a support but as a possible replacement. I may be wrong but this is what I felt.

I am worried.

I just hope he is genuinely moving on and this is just not a phase of proving to Tejo that he can move on; which will break the moment Jasmine professes her feelings for him again.

You think he is using her as rebound? Just like he used to be around Jasmine, the same?

He just sees Tejo as his friend. That's all I've noticed.
