Hi! I am new to this forums. Just started watching the show and fell in love with Tejo and Fateh. This my first attempt to write an OS on them. Hope you like it.
Did it hurt her as much as it hurts him now? His beautiful wife in a white saree in the arms of anotherman. Why did he feel the urge to go there beat that man up and take his wife with him? But he knew if he did that his wife would not appreciate it. She always read his feelings like an open book so why could not she see his pain.Why was she dancing with that idiot and that too so close? Here he was on his birthday alone sitting in the corner watching his wife dancing with his childhood friend. Yuvi would be the exact description of Tejo’s dream man. Hewas this tall, handsome, and smart army man every woman dreamt of and aninspiration to so many young people. Since the day Yuvi arrived at their househe has seen admiration in Tejo’s eyer for Yuvi.
That’s also the day he realized that he feels extremely possessive about his wife. Tejo and Yuvi behaved like they were the childhood friends here. They were always laughing and hanging out together. He missed her undivided attention. He heard her laughter and came back to the reality. He looked at his wife again. God! She was looking breath-taking in this saree gifted by him. They went shopping for his birthday outfit and as soon as he saw the saree he knew it was made for his Tejo.
The song ended and they stopped dancing. Tejo and Yuvi were coming towards him giggling like kids. Why couldn’t he control this anger rising in him? He stormed towards them grabbed Tejo’s arm and dragged her to their room. He ignored all the weird looks and even Tejo’s whispers to leave her arms. Inthere he locked the door and was about to say something, but he was interruptedby his wife. “Have you gone crazy Fateh?! What do you think are you doing? Willyou ever grow up and learn to control your feelings? What happened to you? Did Jasmin post something to annoy you on your birthday?”
Just then Fateh realized what he was doing. He wanted to apologize and explain his feelings. But just then she said: “Why did you behave so rudely in front of Yuvi?”
And again, the volcano in him exploded. “Since when did Yuvi come between us? And why do you care somuch about his feelings. Nowadays he became your priority. What is so special about him?”
Tejo could not believe her ears. “What?” she was asking in disbelief.
“You are behaving like you are the Nr. 1 Fan of the Yuvi fan club. You are spending all your free time with him.”
Tejo almost exploded hearing him but she took a deep breath and said “So? Why does it bother you so much?”
Fateh wanted to say:“Because I love you and you are only mine. I feel insecure seeing you with him.” But the only stupid thing that came out of his mouth was: “What would thepeople think and our families?” He closed his eyes as soon as these words lefthis mouth.
“Enough is enough Fateh. Since the day I came to this house everyone is treating me like anunwanted piece of furniture. There are rarely four people in this house who treat me like a human. Even you failed me as a friend in the beginning. But Yuvi treats me like a good friend. And yes, it feels nice to be around someonewho wants to spend time with you. And I have had enough of all this what will the society think crap. Because of all that we landed up in this unwanted marriage suffering every day. So let me at least choose my friends. I don’tknow what is going in your mind Fateh but stop this behaviour now.” Her voic ewas beaming in anger. She left the room before he could say a word.
Fateh sat on the bed and held his head. What did he do?
“What did you say toher?” he heard Yuvi asking him with an angry tone.
“Don’t interfere between me and my wife.”, Fateh answered.
“Oh wow you realized now that she is your wife?” Yuvi asked him mockingly.
Fateh grabbed his collar and was about to hit him. When Yuvi stopped him and told him: “Stopbeing so selfish for once Fateh. It was your love Jasmin, then your pain and grief and now your love and possessiveness for Tejo. It’s always about you.Just for once think about her. She has been going trough so much without complaining about it. Just for once be there for her and ask her what she wants. You don’t know how lucky you are for having Tejo in your life. She is amazing and madly in love with you.
Fateh’s heart stopped:”Whaaat?” She loves me?”
Yuvi: “I knew that you don’t see her love for you. Every second word of hers is your name. She loves you madly and she is heartbroken because she thinks you can never love her theway you loved Jasmin. Little does she know that you also love her deeply. Ithink more than you ever loved Jasmin. Go to her and tell her what you feel before its too late.
Fateh ran out of theroom. He knew her favourite spot in the house. She would be on the -terrace.
There she stood in the moonlight looking nothing less than an angel. The love of his life and his soulmate. He will thank God every day for bringing this amazing woman into hislife.
He went towards her. She turned around as she felt him near her. She had tears in her eyes. Fateh felt so bad for treating her like this. He wanted to make up to her for all the tears. From today she will only feel loved. Not only loved by him no he will make sure every member of this family gave her all the love she deserved.
He wanted to say somany things, but nothing came out of his mouth. And instead of saying somethingstupid he just hugged her tight.
“I am really sorry for everything I said and did in the past few months. You can punish me as much asyou want but please don’t distance yourself from me. You made me realize the meaning of true love. From you I learnt what it means to be each other’s strength.And I was so jealous to see you with Yuvi. That is the reason for my foolish behaviour.I should be the man you laugh with and cry with. You are mine Tejo and only mine. Never will I tell you not to befriend someone or not to spend time with them. But I should be always your first priority.
She looked at him baffled not understanding what he was saying. Was Fateh really confessing his love to her? All this while she thought her love would never be reciprocated.Here he was standing in front of her saying all the things she imagined him tosay. Of course, she has fallen in love with her cute childish husband.
“I love you and I amall yours” she interrupted him suddenly. His eyes beamed with happiness. “I love you too Tejo” he screamed out to the world. Everyone should hear his declaration of love. He cupped her face and kissed he passionately.
They walked back to theparty hand in hand looking forward to a life full of love and happiness.
