I can see him trying to show Jasmine what she lost by not marrying him. Also, he'll be a friend to Tejo after that initial awkwardness and pain go away. What he started to make Jasmine jealous would bring him closer to Tejo, moreover, the family will do things to try to make things work between these two.

Tejo will always hesitate because she believes that Jasmine truly loved Fateh, which we know isn't true.

Both will fall in love, but Fateh might not realise it till he sees Tejo actively trying to avoid the feelings OR his Canada job is materialised, and he sees how that was Jasmine's dream, not his. Have a feeling that Simmi is divorced or in an abusive NRI relationship, where her husband took her there and then dumped her or something for a Canadian girl. If the job thing does not work, maybe Tejo will help Fateh get Simmi back by asking her Professor for the PhD opportunity in Canada instead of Punjab and sacrificing her own dreams of settling in Punjab temporarily for HIS sister's well-being, which will make him see what a golden hearted girl she is 💯

There can be innumerous scenarios in which they can come to love each other, lets see makers decide on which one.?.

But the one thing that I as a viewer want is to not break the character consistency of the leads.

In many itv shows we see that after a certain amont of time the character developmemf of leads is so drastic that we could not identify them anymore..

I hope they keep this in mind..

Fingers crossed for consistency, so far they have been very clear and not disappointed in that sense. I am hoping they do cover the social and other aspects of this Canada issue and explore how while Jasmine was his dream who initially gave him wings to fly and maybe look up towards a brighter tomorrow, Tejo is now his reality who keeps him both grounded and gives him courage and determination to work towards that brighter future in Punjab, and he encourages her to pursue PhD and grow intellectually too!! Her education can really help further the grand plans that Virk saab has for the youth of Punjab. It all ties in so well 👏👏👏
