Well yes, it's some Sukor fans who're bashing VJ but some Meera fans joined in too.

Actually this thread diverted into this topic when Ruby(a Meera fan) questioned VJ's desperation.

Again it isn't about which fandom, it's about individuals.

IMO it's wrong to question an actor's character because of a professional decision.

Colors has lost interest in Udaan a long time ago, as far as I know the show hasn't had a promo on TV since the one about avenging Rajjo. Makers had to use precaps to promote the leap.

I know nothing about twitter beyond people I follow, but I'm more familiar with IG. Meera didn't face this backlash and direct attacks in posts than VJ is facing when she continued after the leap. The venom against him is too much.

Some people have a huge sense of entitlement, being disappointed doesn't justify being rude and disrespectful. He said he won't return, situations change, we don't know what happens off screen.

Why put all blames on sukor fan. In Twitter n IG some sukor fans bashed Vj some meera fans mocked Vj n some Ragkor + meejay fans encouraged them.
About this thread I don't find any sukor fan mocked or bashed Vj

This is because Meera was forced and tortured to continue but they didn't force Vj. But as a said before it's his life and he is in the industry for a quite long time and he knows what will be best for him.Apparently Vj didn't have contract issues.

I don't know about twitter but in IG Meera fans didn't bash Vj but they bashed PH for not bringing back Vj when Meera was there in Udaan.I even saw Vj fans mocking him in IG for accepting this role.

I am really confused about these discussions dears.

I am not like, I am a fan of VJ, I support all his decisions and watch all ..I cant watch him in udaan now,period.

Sametime I am not like, he is so wrong on his part, I hate him for being back in udaan.

I dont stand on either side 😕...I personally dont like he is back in udaan but surely I await his new show he being back with bang.

same goes for meera too, even if she comes back in udaan, I will watch if I am able to watch or will await her new show eagerly. may be I have a soft corner for her😳😆, so may be I watch.😆

But as of now , where fans like all of us stand.. as far as I see, everyone in this thread Echo same thoughts I think.

reg the backslash meera hasnt received for continuing post leap , I think she was spared bcoz there wasnt a pair opposite her post leap.

As far as i see, the backslash is from certain people who had passed same kind of remarks on MeeJay for Raghav-chakor track itself i think.

so if chakor was also paired with someone else postleap, definitely meera would had face the wrath from that fans too i think.

But I do totally agree and feel same, one shouldnt do that whoever it might be. as you said one shouldnt judge a character on a professional decision bcoz professional decision seriously have so many layers beyond your heart likes.

Its a glass house in the tinseltown - my two cents

I never wanted to discuss as I am completely off the show since Nov 19 and was intermittently seeing till Feb 14 and tbh fell in for Raaghav too for the sheer brilliant acting of VJ.

I realised soon that the actors lives in a glass house and in the tinseltown. Everything is not so real and also very lucid.

We attach emotions to the actors, characters, share our happiness, emotions, disappointment etc. We somewhere fail to forget yes for actors fans are important but they too have their own life to lead. They are also bread winners so sometimes some decisions are taken with a hope that it would sail through but in actual reality the harsh truth hits hard so one has to go back on ones decision.

Both MeeJay didnot want to continue post leap. its their decision. VJ said that he will not come back, hoping that he would get something better but be it professional or a normal working person being in between jobs is a tough period to go through.

Also the stint of any actor revolves around the PH, Channel, etc etc. Nobody can rub anybody.

coming to VJ he is back, but we donot know how much would have gone at the back of his mind, for he knows about the fans expectations, the current mood of the fans of the show, he would have gone through before accepting the new challenge.

he is an actor and all he has to do is showcase his acting ability keeping aside certain personal constraints too to run the household too.

He did not post any pics or updates too fr the past few days though looking at yday news and post he indeed had already been shooting for Udaan last few days.

There is only two as a fan I can do, One though upset continue seeing the show for the versatility of his acting which I am sure he will still give his 100 percent

Second, as I am doing I choose to stay away from the show not to spoil my lovely memories of MeeJay be it Sukor or Ragkor which I had saved in me.

hurling abuses makes no peace for anyone...

And this mocking game and using harsh words on VJ is not a new thing.

Let me them say what they want if it give them peace of mind at the expense of hurting others or mocking a person.

I think VJ is matured enough to not to hurt of these insults.

And it's his personal choice and his life so what he want to do in his professional life is only up to him.

And his loyal fans will support him.

And there are mocking games going on who is supporting him.

But why ?

If you don't like something stay away from it,simple.

Who we were dictate others and their choices.

Trp audience for example is always a different entity.

Online fans always mocked choice of trp audience.

But at the end of the day,only trp matters.

So as actors have their personal choices or they bound to do things out of professional tie ups with channel or makers etc.

Let it be.

Life is not to please others or their opinions but to live for ourselves.
