So I checked the nomination criteria, they cover the period between 1st September 2018 to 31st August 2019, so either Vidya's promo will come soon or the PH was very optimistic. I'm saying the PH because Luv-Kush hasn't been included in the nominations, so it's not Colors doing, seems it's the PHs that submit nominations.

The last day for submission for nomination is September 10th, how can voting start before submissions end 🤪

PH submit nominations for jury....we vote for popular.

I think it is careless on ITA part to nominate Meera for Vidya and not Udaan.

If PHs submit the nominations...does it mean that Udaan makers submitted nominations for Toral but not Meera as Chakor?

Guroudev and Mahesh Pandey both are not the type of producers who would care to submit nominations.

Nominations now released are popular category, ITA nominate ALL actors active with shows, its just a mistake on their part to nominate Vidya and not Udaan.

Just noticed, Namish is nominated for Main maayke (his previous show) and Vidya.

I thought ITA was the most credible of all the awards. But this is a disappointment. And the makers of Udaan... nothing left to say about them.

Vidya is also nominated for best show, if Meera's nomination was a mistake it doesn't explain the nominations for best show and best male actor, they clearly know that he has another show so why not for Meera.

I think it's intentional, shows like Luv Kush and Sanjivani who have confirmed start date aren't nominated but Vidya is, my bet it's Mahesh Pandey's doing.

It's unforgiveable by GD not to nominate Meera for Udaan.

Now I'm wondering if the makers had anything to do with Meera's absence in Armenia.

I checked a couple of things in the nominations, seems only one actor is nominated for a character, so maybe to fit Toral they decided to include Vidya so that Meera doesn't miss out.

The right decision was to nominate Meera for Chakor and omit Toral, like they did for Happy and Raja beta, the original actors got the nomination and not the replacement.

The decision reflects badly on the professionalism of whoever took the decision. This farce also affects the credibility of ITA but personally I lost all faith in them when I saw the judges awards last year, they were more biased than popular awards.

I guess it's actor's PR managers sending their nominations to awards ?

Channel in-house awards may be different.

but all these two ITA awards and Gold awards and all are private ceremonies holding under some media houses or like wise concerns.

And there are fixed group of actors who were always present in such award shows no matter being a part of a show or not.

and awards received by certain actors who have huge PR back up.

and why producers has to send nominations of actors for a show already off air ??

it's not beneficial to them in any way in case of show went off air

but for on air shows may be producers keen to promote show or characters at the starting year may be !

so I guess awards is like we are seeking scholarships as we have to submit everything needed for it then we awarded the merits.

so it's a costly affair for actors( to get awards) and it's up to them to part of it being in lime light or staying away from it.

and almost all actors have their PR these days in a minimal way atleast so it's up to their mangers to send their profiles to awards or any such public events that is what I feel but not sure though.

Bini , Sayantani (same pr as Meera) is nominated for Karn Sangini and not Sanjivani .

If soapbox is involved in this,they would have posted about nomination on their insta by now but they didn't post any such.
