I've realised... actors move on faster than fans, don't they? I'm still sitting here watching old episodes & getting nostalgic... missing those days when the show was going good.

yes they do have to move on fast, since its their profession and job to make their living.

they are bound to move on fast but we take time, bcoz for us its a choice

and I see they like video posts of theirs too. They too restore the good memories but move on.

I personally moved on from Udaan long back....wattpad and cricket helped😃

I am glad playing mother role didn't affect Meera's career and she got a new show in 2 months😊

At first I was worried about social drama again but if actors can do romance genre again and again, I don't see harm in this. I trust Meera and she accepted this show after lot of discussions, Mahesh Pandey is planning it since March and Meera said she was in talks just after her Udaan stint ended, means she took time to give her nod.

I wanted Meera to do urban based show but its okay...everything don't happen as we wish....just hope her character is modern(thinking)

@bold : you spoke my mind... those were the initial inhibitions I had too reading the new project of hers. its being social drama, colors , Mahespandey and personally I wanted to see her in a urban setup, in SP.

but yes all cant happen as we wish, as you said @italics , as I have quoted before too, I too just trust her instinct & decision, I am sure she would have landed up on that decision only after much thought.

And like you said, I wish she is given an entirely different look, modernised in thinking and even the problems to deal with are quite different or the treatment to deal with is different.

I am awaiting to read more news about it and to see the first look of Vidya.

Soon, when the replacement show is ready, in reality all Colors weekday dramas are doing bad, and each is waiting for its turn to get axed.

Bahu Begam should be ready soon, so my guess is Udaan won't last for long.

Meera is very young she can do urban show later on but like you said this show has been planned on for long and meera giving consent after a wait means she must have viewed the pros and cons..They isnt just one factor actresses have to consider. Fl are always under more pressure imo so if she is getting to play another strong role then it's surely a bonus.

Right you are about the mother angle, I to was concerned that Meera career will be affected due to leap in Udaan but thankfully things have been under control and no long term damage.

Colors rpt their actors so Meera bagging her next lead role on the same channel isn't really s big surprise but it happening so soon makes me happy

Content , time slot, promotions etc are most imp. Big stars have failed to get trps and nowadays lots of shows are flopping and ending soon. Here I hope all works out well for Meera and the show carries layers like udaan did in past. Love story is a must but not necessary it has to be centre of attention..it' needs to be a good mix

I am rooting for a modern look this time
