Yeah,he got beaten by iron rod and then they must use medicines to make him forget things.

So hit with a small stone for regain memory is not possible.

But that piece of cloth she used for dressing his wound can be an eye opener to Sooraj to realise that she cared for him.

And only if he started to listen her,she can bring changes in him.
